SO many modders lately

Whatsup with R* lately..? been so many modders in GTAO, its kinda gotten to the point its unplayable.

That is what I am saying, but as soon you make a thread about it, they get locked, because some modder cry babies spam reports on your post and making stuff up in their little reports. The reasons why they get locked make no sense. Stuff like its allegedly unproductive. Meanwhile we got threads where people directly offend R* with insults and some where people talk about pixel asses and they are not locked to this day.

In the end you cant even address the modding issue

Game is at the end of life , all people have been moved to developing another game it will get only worse before they shut it down like they did with old gen

online is in dying state from long time, thats the true, game is totally milked to the bone, so im not suprised, they just do not care anymore, good thing is that they work on gta 6 now, i can only suggest to install some good mods to single player, and leave online forever, its suck anyway with all those the cheater swarms/griefers, only exeption is that if you play with good friend, but this would work in invite only sessions.

I played all the old GTA titles and yes cheats were part of the game, but they only affected your gameplay on a solo play game, no big whoop. there should be mod servers and standard servers, with some actual anti-cheats

there is mod called five5 or something, like other multiplayer mode created by players, i havent tested it, but i read reviews and its much better compared to normal gta servers(sessions)

Since February, modders cannot spoof their true account IDs anymore. So reporting them either ingame or through the support website actually means something now.

False, just yesterday I sawed many spoofed modders. They exist and will always exist, because mod menus will always find a way around the current weak anti-cheat. R* needs to improve their anti-cheat, otherwise it will keep going like that forever

Im having second thoughts if GTA 6 releases cos of the amount of hackers in game. I mean, do Rockstar Devs even bother trying out their own online game and see for themselves? I bet they don't, and probably wont do stuff about it anymore knowing GTA 6 is releasing soon.

Guess this is the way to go besides of FiveM then.

It got way worse since the start of the pandemic and after the EPIC giveaway.

Before 2020 I almost never encountered cheaters while quick joining heists now about half of them got at least one cheater.

Modders are not cheaters.

Modders are people who are creating stuff for games.
An example ?
Armed Assault : a lot of teams of passionate people are working to modelize the stuff of their own national armies into that military game simulator.
They create contents, they are modding the game, they are modders.
The users of such new contents are just players. They are not modders.


Other people will create tools to cheat into a game.
Maybe here you can find a "grey zone" for calling them "modders", because they created tools that can modify elements of the game. Even if personnally, they created "no new contents, being graphical or new cars, etc".
They just created tools to bypass "security & rules elements" of the game.

But the users of such cheating tools are in no way "modders", they are cheating, so they are "cheaters".

I'm highly disappointed by people who call "modders" those cheaters.

I were personnally a modder.
So, I can make the difference.
Not like too many ignorant people.

Ever stopped and thought that just because something is popular by the masses,
that the masses are whom is incorrect and therefor ignorant?

Modding brings new life to games.
Cheaters bring death to online games.
