AMD CHS better than Nvidia PCSS ?

This is an option that I have always set aside, but I found that it offered an interesting compromise: the Nvidia PCSS is too greedy, especially in the woods, and buggy (distant shadows that do not appear) AMD CHS is less realistic but I find it sounds clean and superior to Rockstar's softest setting. The transition between high quality shadows around the character and shadows outside of this rough area is not noticeable and only drops by 1-2fps (compared to 5-10fps in PCSS).

What do you think ?

Obviously the ray-traced shadows of the next-gen version would be ideal, but Rockstar despises the PC community and refuses to update its game.

The game has shadow box issue and yes AMD CHS is more blurry and doesn't have jaggies so you notice it less.

Most games with RT have performance issue, will see or not...
