There is no good modder. All modders deserve a ban and mod makers even to get sued in real life

First of all, modding itself is not allowed. Its against the ingame policy. Everybody that is doing so is doing a cyber crime. it does not matter to what degree you abuse those mods. The moment you got mods injected inside GTAO you are doing something illegal. Even if your intention would be to do something good with the mods, you are still a "bad guy" since you violate terms. Also doing something good with mods is a matter of perspective. It is always the ones that claim to use mods against griefers, while they obliterate the whole lobby in the meantime. But its okay from their modding narcissist perspective, because they "just" killed griefers. Not that I am a grifer and I want to go on a rant against modders. That is not my point here. My point is that the grifer is doing allowed acts. The act of griefing another dudes cargo is just a game design. The griefer is doing so on normal activities, while the modder is doing illegal activities. So the griefer is actually the good one and the modder the bad one. Hate or love it. The point is that there is this type of wanna be "hero" modders out there that weight the griefers worse than their actual abuse of modding. Who might be good modders, you may ask yourself? Those that drop money to others or doing a money service, while the legit player farms hours to get even close to this amount? Economically not really morallic. I could write more and more of these type of instances that get stated as good modding, but are in fact not really as "good" as being stated.

My next point goes to the guy from yesterday on threads, who is very likely a mod creators himself as he indirectly signaled.

His point was that mod creators are actually good persons. He claims mod makers are just doing side income.

Ok, but at what cost? You willing to sell mods to immature human beings that are ready to abuse mods to their own toxic use. Even if the modder himself is just being productive, its not as hes doing a good thing. The issue exactly starts at the mod maker. In fact, the mod maker is even doing a bigger damage to the game environment. If no mod maker would exist, no mod could be used. So R* if you really want to do something, don't make just ban waves, because moders will always come back. Keep erasing mod companies as you luckily already did with mod menus such as luna and so. Mod makers are the origin of the whole issue.

Actually, modding itself is a cyber delict, but can not really lead to huge consequences in real life rather than getting a ingame ban. However, doing a mod menu, abusing a mod menu for recovery services or selling mod menus is a huge crime with consequences in your real life. You can actually be sued for this. Depending on the damage you caused, you got to pay a damage compensation up to the values of even millions. So in fact, the mod maker is even worse than just the regual modder. Both however should be stopped and I write this because the modding became really worse. Every lobby has a modder that keeps messing with the whole lobby to a point where invite only sessions is the only escape. But here comes my question. Why do you play gta "online" if you are then going to a solo session? Then you could actually just play gta 5 with content mods and more additions and you would have more fun. Gta online excels with the multiplayer aspect so of course it should be played online. However, my suggestion to the modders is that they actually can mod as much they want to inside solo sessions. It would be still illegal, but at least they would not harm others with it. So modders, go to solo sessions. Or be adult and delet your modding tools and play legit!

As someone with hundreds of hours in this game on the same character, starting from 360... playing with random modders is some of the most fun I've ever had in GTA.

You have two problems.

1. GTA is not a game for "serious" gaming. It's a silly parody world with great physics and funny ragdolls. Why are you actually getting upset in game? Because someone wronged you? Because someone wasted your time? Because someone ruined your hardwork? Whatever the answer, now apply the same scenario to a game of monopoly and tell me again why you're getting so upset. It's a game. It's pixels and none of it matters. This whole post just tells me that GTA isn't for you, and that's fine. There are plenty of games in the sea.

2. You're immediate response to these people is aggression. Let go. Relax. Laugh at the quadruple backflip the modder made your character do, and take that a step further and TELL THEM how funny it was. Doing exactly that to cheaters and trolls is exactly why I've had some of the fun times that I have had. If you just PLAY with them, they play back most of the time. They ARE human beings after all. We all tend to not like being alone, enjoy fun, and need to unwind now and then.

So maybe stop being wound up so tight and enjoy the finer things in life. Like being able to take a bong rip with your character and taking a real life bong rip at the same time on this insane ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ technology that not a single person using it could recreate by themselves even if they had until the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ heat death of the universe.

you can not hate all modders just cause you get destoryed and big mouth yourself towards him which makes them target since you are hella annoyin and they want nothing to do with but meanwhile you hate us modders but never realise that the normal players are just as toxic griefing others in a way by telling each other to commit self harm in games while being extremely toxic for no parent reason so if you do not mind do not type again!

What I wrote was a reaction of a inadequate impulse that the guy gave to me. He comes and states my take being dumb, but is not even be able to explain himself why that is and actually to stay in that conext now. My take was long and well explained its not just as I am on a rant and say I hate modders, that was never my point. TL:DR. you think way too highly of yourself, your point was a rant at players who can do nothing about the cheating problem. R* won't read it, Steam Mods don't care and players can do nothing.

the only thing we can do as players is play invite-only and not give cheaters a target, reporting them does next to nothing, R* knows that stupid players will buy shark cards to try and compete with them. that's why i have A) never bought a shark card and B) play invite only. cheaters and R* get nothing from me. i'm also gonna be blocking you now, i'm done reading your pointless rants
