Four reasons why Trevor should replace Franklin in Option B in GTA V
Tbh, Option B in GTA V makes zero sense. It's just killing your father which is bad. A better alternative is using Trevor instead of Franklin in B. "Many or in most common events, Trevor and Michael kept fighting whereas, Franklin was nice to Michael and they both were nice to each other. In the story, Trevor symbolized Michael's mean friend"

1) Franklin is like a son to Michael

Michael treats Franklin like a family, a son and they both are best friends so obviously, Frank and Mike are both germane to each other.

2) Trevor hated M for what he did in North Yankton

In the story, Trevor was so angry at Michael for not only faking his death but also getting Brad killed.

3) It makes more sense

It makes more sense due to the reason above this and because, Trevor acted more angrier than Franklin. Even during hangouts, Franklin was forced by Trevor to be on his side. This represents the real anger that T has towards M.

4) Franklin has a brother-like and father-like friend

Franklin and Jimmy are like brothers to each other and if Franklin kills Jimmy, then he can no longer hang out with him and they, and Michael form an important relationship. Even Franklin saved Michael countless times and helped him such as when the yacht got stolen.

Overall, Franklin killing Michael is not a good option and T fits better. F should eventually be replaced by T and discontinued in option B. Frank shoul be the one mourning Michael and Trevor should be the one killing Michael.

The way I see it, Franklin is just stealing Trevor's role which is unnecessary. The fact the F forms an important relationship with M is the best reason why he is better to replace. So why not just ban the current Option B and replace it with the better proposed one?

Afaik they've planned an ending where you kill Franklin, but it was cut for obvious reasons.

You're not getting the full picture. Michael betrayed Trevor. He can do the same to Franklin too. That was what Trevor was worried about. That Michael could use Frankin, and then dispose of him. Later on after option B, Trevor does not want to talk with Franklin. Could it be because Trevor did not want Michael dead? All of them have their flaws. Michael beating himself up about the Robbery, Trevor not knowing whether or not to kill Michael, and Franklin being the middle person. In option C. that gets all resolved. Just a question to you, Why are you so against Trevor? You talk about Jimmy being close to Franklin, How about Trevor being close to Jimmy? And "Trevor symbolized Michael's mean friend" is simply not true. Trevor's one Moral rule he keeps is that he is loyal. Michael broke his trust. Trevor keeps pushing Michael to come clean about it. You say Michael is a better person than Trevor huh? Someone who stabs you in the back and takes the money? Trevor might be crazy, but he ain't a snake.

Why would Michael betray Franklin though? He is like a son to Michael

Because Trevor was Michael's best friend. Trevor knows what it is like to be betrayed by someone you know. Trevor does not want the same fate for Franklin. And why would he do it? Because without Trevor keeping constant pressure on Michael, Michael won't address the situation, and the same thing will happen again. In option A, when Franklin, or Michael kills Trevor, Michael wants nothing to do with Franklin anymore. Even before that, Trevor goes to Michael's house to confront him, Michael says that he will "dissolve the partnership." Michael does not truly give a crap about anyone else. You see that if you picked option c, In the mission The Third Way, Michael does not back down, even when he is in the Standoff with Trevor in the factory. Trevor is the one who backs down, showing that he is ready to move on from the past. You need all 3 of them together for each of them to be successful. We see most of this play out in GTA Online. Trevor ran a smuggling operation, then fled. Franklin is a CEO of an agency, and we haven't seen Michael yet, but Franklin does mention that Michael is a movie producer. So, you need all 3 of them together in Story mode to be successful later on.

it's based on the player controlling Franklin.. only a player could tell you why they opted for this choice..

I can change it to Trevor
Hey there, Joe. I see you're suggesting that Trevor should replace Franklin in Option B in GTA V. Here are four reasons why I think your argument is hilarious:

1) Franklin is like a son to Michael

Yeah, but does Michael really need another son? I mean, he already has to deal with the antics of his actual son, Jimmy. Adding Franklin into the mix might just give him a headache.

2) Trevor hated M for what he did in North Yankton

That's true, but let's be real, Trevor hates a lot of things. He hates people who wear sandals, he hates people who don't like his cooking, he even hates his own reflection sometimes. So, I don't think his hatred for Michael should be the sole reason for replacing Franklin.

3) It makes more sense

I'm sorry, I'm still trying to figure out what actually makes sense in GTA V. A game where you can hijack a plane, rob a bank, and run over pedestrians without any consequences. Let's just say logic isn't really a strong point.

4) Franklin has a brother-like and father-like friend

Oh, you mean Jimmy, the same guy who is always getting into trouble and causing chaos? Yeah, I'm sure Michael really appreciates having him as a "son." And as for Franklin saving Michael, let's not forget who actually saved Trevor from getting killed by the Lost MC. I believe that deserves some recognition.

In conclusion, while I appreciate your argument, I think it's safe to say that the plot of GTA V is already pretty absurd, so replacing Franklin with Trevor might not make much of a difference. Plus, can you really imagine Trevor being the one to mourn Michael's death? That might just be too much for his fragile psyche.
