Is GTA online safe?

I've been thinking about buying GTA for rp and online. But all I see is people getting their money taken away, ddos'ed, and a bunch of other things. I have only seen that happen in online but I'm not too sure about rp.

Defenetly not safe in gta online, but gta rp also suffers from modders online who use menus.

if you want to rp. try FiveM it's for rp'ing. Loads of servers.

i mean it is but know it's has nothing to do with actual rockstar servers. It's servers ran by people. It's the only rp thing out there that is very popular.

You can only get your money taken away if you use heavy glitches and they discover it. Other than that it's okay, just play in invite-only lobbies and you should be safe, at least after they take care of the most recent plague.

it's not. R* has ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ security and lobbies are P2P, so any bozo with a mod menu in GTA Online can get your info. can't say anything about RP servers though as i've never partaken in them. when i play online it's either to play with friends in invite only or if i want to grind stuff that has me do stuff in the open world i just glitch the lobby into a solo session so i don't get griefed on top of being in an unsecured environment.

On PC? No its not, On Console? Yes.

Its sad, i know, but i recommend you only play the online on Private Sessions or only with friends, never play with randoms.

Safe from exploits and such. Hard to accept "trolling" as banning your social club account, or ddosing you.
