game wont launch

so i havent been able to play gta on this pc since i built it and what it does when i launch it is in steam it says its running and on the rockstar launcher it says loading and it stays like that and i have done everything i could find on the internet but just cant find a fix and the only way i can sorta play gta is fivem

Would rather you list everything you've tried, as there are many reasons to have this. It becomes even worse if you have multiple of these reasons at same time. Even OS build/info could influence some of the fixes. Fun stuff -.-

Info I've used to fix this problem countless times - perhaps something will be of use -
(so you can normally open/close the game without other silly taskman/pc restarts)

edit - completely wiped/started over - 'usually' works and can be the best thing for some. sadly, not everyone can do that for various reasons.

i have done



Run the game as administrator.
Verify the integrity of GTA 5 game files.
Update GPU drivers.
Reinstall Visual C++.
Delete the cache files.
Disable your antivirus suite.
Disable your NVIDIA device.
Reinstall the Rockstar Games Launcher and Social Club applications.

i have done all those i am going through everything on my computer to see if anything is stopping it from launching but cant find anything

i got the same issu. deleted rockstar games launcher deleted rockstar games folder inside the document and verifide the game on steam and now its working

i completly wiped everything off my computer and now its working and pc runs smooth now
