looks like you suck at computer building
could be anything bad config up to faulty hardware
new equipment doesn't need to mean it is also working
that is why cherry picking exists

get all the tools out to check cpu gpu temp and the voltage number of all the different parts like ram etc, check all the connections especially of this powerhungry gpu beast

especially aftermarket cpu power cables are known for causing lots of trouble
https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/rxde1b/gpu_power_supply_cable_melted_using_3090_hof/

https://uk.pcmag.com/graphics-cards/143424/nvidia-investigating-user-reports-of-rtx-4090-power-cables-melting

it could be possible that the game thinks you are still using old graphic card if you have onedrive activated
so check the setting.xml file in the documents folder that the cards is correctly recognized
Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V

the important line is on the bottom of the file "video card discription"

Dudes just flexing. How do i get my system spec's up without coming across as a flex "Make up problem that i need to post me exact specs for". :steammocking:

The whole thing called flexing is just narcissism and lingo to cover up their guilt, so please lets stay on topic.

Refer to official Microsoft support IT sites and valid and certified websites.

Check EVENT viewer logs, refer to ID code error translation based on the complete windows encyclopedia based on error codes and security (Website), not providing link look for it.

find the error logs connected to the problem, leading up to the system shutdown, so the information above will be relevant to you.

FATAL SYSTEM MEMORY ERRORS OR VOLTAGE OVERLOAD OR insufficient VOLTAGE can make your system shut off, if system protection is on, and the values are set for AN UNREALISTIC VALUE BASED ON YOUR OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS temperature control VALUES MIGHT BE THE CAUSE, if you have hardware protection enabled In BIO's or an incompatible setting enabled, Refer to your hardware manuals and check your system information to determine if all your memory modules are installed correctly, you will have to spend more time swapping modules around carefully and putting them in different slots so all memory can be used, if you can't see all installed memory values in (System information) then you did something wrong.

if the power supply you have has an USB type of cable that plugs into your base-board to regulate power voltage rails then updating the app or finding the conflict between settings might be an issue to0, really please be-careful and its best to use the correct manuals (rev)matters, even windows security settings can be a conflict due to how gta 5 has so many sensitive security related things that can prevent it from running, better to have OCD type of caution with things like this.

you can even use low voltage cheap laser pointer to check memory modules to see if any of the memory units have heir line fractures, in-case you dropped one and damaged it before installing it, really think about it and do the math before you waste money and your time.

Sua configuração é boa, porém não sei se é a Rockstar ou a Steam, que fazem um trabalho de m*rda. Para algumas pessoas que adquiriram o jogo, funciona tudo OK, mas para outras não funciona.
ChickenBalls Sep 3, 2023 @ 3:52am
could also be a NZXT prebuilt and we know how good some of the prebuilt are...
since his profile is private it is difficult to guess what other games hes able to run
uh maybe contact the manufacturer instead asking strangers on Steam?

Damn
I kinda' coulda' used that PC in 2016.
To late now.
You figure that out, dude you could market it as some type of Parental Control device.

I just helped.
10%

Just sayin'.

I found an obsolete DDR3 base-board that's compatiable for newer T.P.M. chips for AMD so windows11 would work, funny story about some games don't work with T.P.M security enabled and you wonder why people get mad at people when they want to lie about computer repair fraud, in order to scam people out of parts.

When hacking bio's for custom setting is a thing these days to run obsolete hardware, or let alone flashing a custom GPU(BIO-CHIP) with memory mods installed(beta DRIVERS are good for unique CUSTOM GPU's with hardware unit modifications if the PCB can support extra hardware with limited machine work.)

Not many people can solder chips in a controlled environment with out someone trying to interrupt them from working, people have so many problems and its best to provide logical information with honesty.

AMD and some manufactures provide flashing apps for obsolete products and its perfectly legal to do things for yourself.

Imagine owning a modified GPU your not legally allowed to sell without a disclaimer and legal agreement contract.

I will never trust build chart calculators, all math work should be done by hand, that is one thing my old math teacher's advice I will stick too.
This one big reason is why I turn my surge protector off and my power supply switch off every day because of people who don't read before doing the assemble and planning of calculable measures of precaution.

or.... that 600 watt power supply isn't enough for a card that reccommends at least 850 watts to run.

You just gave me an ideal.
On some old 98' flight sims we used to play, this might be a thing.
It's getting harder and harder to keep them old machines up and running.

Did the OP post get edited as that's a 1200w psu?
Jebibyte Oct 15, 2023 @ 11:18am
Update for anyone who is having the same problem and stumbles upon this thread. In my case the issue was caused by a faulty power supply. Testing the PSU with a multimeter showed that the 12V rail on the power supply was only outputting ~10V. NZXT provided an RMA and the new PSU solved the problem.
Cobra Commander Oct 15, 2023 @ 1:05pm
for a start you are clearly new to computers.. you shouldn't be installing games on the main OS drive.. should always have a secondary for games!

you didn't even list the cooler...

and 1200w psu? yeah okay bud... not needed and nzxt? XD

oh and a base nvidia gpu, didn't think anyone still brought OEM gpus... you're a rare one that's for sure.

AND WINDOWS 11? nobody NOBODY uses windows a 11, people still use 10... only those that want to crash and have issues use a 11 XD
