I NEED TO BE ON 60FPS LOCK?

So basicly as title says, if i dont want stuters in main menu or MAP, i have to limit my fps to 60? why the F can i play game on 200fps but main menu cant handle it, come on its decade old game and u still didnt fix this?

yeah tbh this game is not worthy of more than 60 fps.
Competitive combat is of course completely not a thing in gta so like who needs more than 60 fps in a p2p game where everyone is modding.

Problem with gamers these days they think its all about having a high end system with the most fps.

Such a narrow minded perception of gaming leading to a sad expensive spiral of doom lol.

60 fps is more than enough, if it does not satisfy you, your not a true gamer, just a fps poser.

"These days". Funny enough this whole 60 fps thing is relatively "new". Back when crt monitors were a thing, at least 100 fps was more or less standard in gaming. It dropped only when lcds came out. If you don't have some issues with your vision, difference between 60 and proper fps is quite obvious, especially in action games like gta. You should play some games at high fps until you get used to it's fluidity and chances are you will never want to get back to that crappy 60.

I have played high fps systems.
My nephew has a serious piece of hardware and I have witnessed the difference you mention.
He gave me the whole rundown on the differences in FPS between him and the players he was fighting against rating turn responses etc, and that he would always have an edge with the highest fps.
Impressive sure.

Still content to roll with my 60 fps in gta though.
I could buy a top end tower right now too.
Not worth it.

Why ?
I am old and miserable.

I have watched the internet gaming world go downhill over the last 25 years, now just a vile modded troll hole filled with racists, terrorist's and wannabe youtube/tiktok celebs.
Very few real players who can focus and play on 1 game for more than a week.
Why invest money in it ?
To be competetive ?
Or just for FPS ?
All games are hacked and filled with trolls or made stupid by the dev's so I don't see the value in online gaming anymore lol.

I cant justify the investment and honestly if you guys had half a brain you would be thinking the same thing.

This is why i'm content to roll with 60 fps in gta i guess xD

There is no online game built on this earth worthy enough of me wanting a high end system, like every game sucks, every damn game sucks, boring, worthless hollow pursuits.

GTA 6 would have come close but I wont touch that with a barge pole now that I am fully briefed on the shocking activities of its developers.

My point is you can play and be content with 60 fps in a game.

As stated i have seen the difference between the 2.
I still maintain that a true gamer will know how to have fun with 60 fps.

And these days I actually am just a casual gamer.
There is nothing worthy of being dedicated too, in online gaming lol.
