I wanted to transfer money to a friend in GTA Online, but I don’t know how, someone told me that this is possible.

The fastest way to transfer money is sharing heist finals and giving your friend 85%(cayo, casino or act2) or you simply buy him a sharkcard

all other activities are pretty tedious or semi legal
like car duping

this stuff with the interaction menu are literally only peanuts from freeroam activities, if it is still working and wasn't already disable as response to one of the thousand money exploits, it also had a cooldown of 1h as it was still working.

so i did short trips, a heist, contact missions, but after ALL it was grey... wanted to help a friend with some extra money. im no modder i woud be glad to read a solution.

i said freeroam activities
like business battle or these events hunt the beast, do the longest wheelie etc
don't know if the new stuff like drug deals, smugglers route and smugglers plane also worked, it is also possible that it is disabled on pc platform

It was disabled some years ago as well, only worked briefly on PC.

You cant transfer money as such but you can invite your friend to cayo and give him 85% cut that's probably the best method of giving some one money

Short answer: No.

Long answer: It's a online -> Rockstar <- game. Allowing us to give money to each other would hurt Shark Card sales, so no.

Rockstar doesn't exactly hide their intentions very well.

I had some thoughts on how'd i do this if needed. I'm new to the game. Don't know how it works, but here's the idea:
You two go online. Meet up at ATM. You use it to get amount of money you want to share. From your balance. And then other guy just kill you. And gets the money.

An excellent idea, however I'm certain that the money that you get from downed players has a ceiling.

Only certain jobs add to it, but it allows you to give/divide money to your organization.

The only viable jobs are the ones that revolve around free-roam. Mainly the random server wide events that happen. Unfortunately this makes the cash rather poor and probably one of the worst ways to help a friend get money.

Ok, but it no longer works on PC, it was working just temporary after first CEO/MC jobs came out. No idea on timelines of conslows.
