Want to be a conslow whale and pay 2 subscriptions every month to play online + GTA+ ?
The middle finger is also/mostly for consoles.
Most PC players already have everything or can mod...
i will agree that it's not that big a deal, but a bad decision is a bad decision, and whilst people are blowing this out of proportion, i must say that people still have a right to be upset that vehicles are locked behind a paywall we PC players aren't even allowed to access, even if said vehicles suck.
All so you have to check every week if the car you want is there. Always have gta online on your mind. Never forget it.
This move isn't aimed at the players who has played for a decade. (They don't really care about you.) This is aimed at the new ones, that don't have 100's of millions in the bank. This is targeted at the new players, and FOMOing them into buying shark cards so they can buy the car that'll only show up this week.
I get the rage from the community and whilst i'm not angry about it i have no sympathy towards people utilising glitches to maximise their in game currency as a result of this. Rockstar has pulled a long con on this one, ♥♥♥♥ them.
Peace out!
I'd rather have that than to have the government limit my game time to 3 hours per week lol or whatever they got going on in China now.
Cool story hans :)
I know, every story I tell is cool.
It is worse than that. It is existing content that Rockstar REMOVED and put behind an inaccessible paywall. It is not some new DLC available only as a subscription only for consoles to begin with (to be made available to PC later). Rather, it is Rockstar STEALING away content (like a robber in the night; because Rockstar did it silently without notifying the PC customers in advance) from SOLD games from PC players. When we PC users bought the game, we own the game. Rockstar can provice us additional new content, for a price. But when they removed existing content from existing product already sold, then they stole from us, plain and simple, since we already bought the content and know what content we bought and used.
It is like someone selling you a TV plus paid OTT service, and then silently removing the TV's display panel in the night, simply because we naively trusted them to provide warranty support for the TV. We would not have minded if they changed the OTT content (the GTA+ service) with notification, but by removing content from the main product - the TV (GTA-V) - without notification, they robbed us.
Aha, so you finally agree that Rockstar has stolen/removed the content!
Whether it is a TV display or TV remote battery, Rockstar has no right to remove content from sold games. When someone buys the game, they own it. Rockstar can change its online services if it wants, but it must not remove content from offline game that's already been sold. And if it is removing some content due to some unavoidable reasons (not the case here though), it has to notify the customers in advance before doing such actions.
Whatever parts Rockstar removed was its decision, but the fact that it removed that content from sold games without any notification, is what's being called out here in these forums as a greedy malicious move.
Keep supporting such bad actions, if you want, but it won't change the fact that GTA-VI will crash and burn on launch due to PC players boycotting it due to Rockstar's malicious actions with GTA-V on PC.
Like I said today to someone on YouTube: Most of those cars weren't competitive anymore (apart of attractive look of most of them), so that's why most of players started to forget about those cars, even whey they spawned as traffic (especially as Simeon's vehicles), or didn't see those cars as an actual rival compared to Itali RSX, Pariah, Krieger, Tezeract and such Top-end vehicles (even if you were racing against an actual pro racer which was using standard Invetero Coquette and such).
Ya'll didn't value what you've got, or had a lot of chances to get even as a "garage space filler vehicle" (not even as "Vehicle for a particular car meet"), now when it's lost, ya'll started to cry like... Like ALL of your progress has been zeroed, and have to start your GTA ONLINE career all over again. Which fault it's now?
I mean don't get me wrong, I will be missing some of vehicles for real, but not to that level where I go against a protest or something against RockStar/TakeTwo Interactive. I also have some of removed vehicles, which I were buying spontaneously , especially Pegassi Infernus (and Bollokan Prairie with Maibatsu Penumbra, AKA NFS Underground 2 stars) and Overflod Entity XF from one of LS Car Meet prizes. SO yeah, we just should wait. Although they should make available to put a tracker and insurance on Hi-end traffic cars, such as Rapid GT, 9F, Comet and such.
Now this is my opinion. Surprised? Probably not I guess, and ya'll will be thinking that I'm the "another stupid crazy provocative person" and such...
