I never had hate for game company until rockstar

Rockstar let the entire gaming community down by harboring modders and cheaters allowing it to become a thriving industry that now impacts all competitive gaming. Gta 5 public online lobby's are not even playable anymore. EVERY public lobby is full of modders and has been for the past few years. It is easy to see that when every other game companies where doing ip banning rockstar only cared about the number of copies they could sell and never banned ip's only accounts. Meaning one could buy 100's of copy's and keep modding from the same computer over and over like they do now. Gta 6 has already been hacked and modders are just waiting for it to be released. I would advise to never buy any rockstar games ever again.

i mean vac exists for a reason, its not rockstars fault that people cheat in games.

Call of duty is even worse with their RCE that Cheaters use all the time.

Also ip bans don't work in 2023, they used to work maybe 30 years back.

Rockstar was the one that aloud it to grow by not banning ips back when it worked and every other game company did. Rockstar saw it as an opportunity to sell more copys instead of trying to protect its customers like every other company does.

nah there was a great deal of time where vac didn't exist and people cheated freely in cs and tf. it was up to server owners to control their game. and seeing as ips are not static 90% of the time banning an ip is pointless...

You have to remember modding has existed since windows 95, but game companies kept it at bay for years until one company (rockstar) aloud it to flourish.

i lived it, i dont need to read about it, and battlefield was punkbuster not battleye. and pb was a joke. did not really work, stole lots of money from ea. so sad.

I lived it too on every console and most competitive gaming. That's why I went to console I was good never need or wanted to cheat. I saw how when it started to flourish on gta 5 it got worse on every other competitive game.
