How to play GTA 5 on PC with a PS4 Controller

So far, this is the only game on Steam where my PS4 controller doesn't work. It starts like in other games (Big Picture Mode), I even have a controller icon, but when the menu loads, only the mouse and keyboard work for me.

I use reWASD to use a ps5 controller, but it is paid software.

You need to go on settings. Open big screen and go to settings. THere is a controller option that says what controller you have. You select ps4. I use a ps4 controller too. I am afraid of destroying my own keyboard in rage. HAHA.

Use DS4 Windows. It works for me. Tip: Connect the controller before booting the game. Goodluck.
