Quick Join heists forever initializing then failing and putting me into the heist prep area? Anyone got a fix?

About 2 weeks ago, I never had a problem joining any heists via quick join. Ever since then I haven't been able to join ANY quick join heists.

I've tried changing the settings, opening ports, verifying integrity of game cache, checked if there are any internet issues from my computer to my modem (hardwired)... None of this is working.

Joining my friends has no issues. Just quickjoin heists.

Anyone ever found a solution to this issue that's had it before?

The issue is not on your side, it's on the host side...

i don't have any problem joining the OG heists, it's the doomsday heists that quite often fail when trying to join

you could try powering off your modem/router for 10 minutes or so

This is normal you spend more time trying to join one than actually doing a heist

Initializing: you have been kicked by player simulator.

this often happens to me when I'm the 4th person to join the lobby.. so instead of joining a lobby on-call, it tries to connect to the lobby while the lobby is loading the game session.. and the synch fails.. happens 98% of the time I try to find a Casino heist using the phone.. If I don't end up on-call in a lobby, I don't have much faith in the "Initializing"

i found a personal fix here are my suggestions first we'll get into the nitty gritty outside of the game
#1 Fire wall (press windows key type in allow app thru fire wall Only Allow Public not Private)
i found this to reduce time joining sessions

#2 check in the game directory for GTAV make sure in properties it doesnt have Fullscreen optimization and administration THESE NEED TO BE OFF ( i dont know if it really makes a difference tbh)

#3 game settings

1. gamepad ( First go into story mode go then go to settings and go to gamepad change targeting mode to assisted aim - Doesnt matter which but i Chose FULL This will help you get into more populated lobbies I think along with more heist)

2.Keyboard/mouse (change your input method to RAW. YES keep it that way boohoo i know it sucks)

3.graphics

DirectX Version# use only -> (Directx11 Or 10 I used DirectX 10) Next

Screen Type# -> FULL SCREEN USE IT its the best method but i use fullscreen borderless i alt tab frequently yes my load times are longer

Vsync# OFF

pausegame# OFF
everything else doesnt mastter i guess
distance scaling might take up your cpu which you need to load faster though (if you have a weak pc )
4. Advanced Graphics keep everything in there OFF turn off high detail flying
DO NOT USE EXTENDED DISTANCE SCALING i noticeably noticed longer load times or i might be buggin
anywho i wrote this last minute and NONE of this stuff has been tested EXTENSIVELY
these are just my settings i use
also for graphic reference i have Most of my settings on HIGH some other settings are either Normal Or OFF also My PC is a h370m with 16gb ram 5500xt gpu and a i5 9600k

BTW IF YOU ARE GETTING KICKED FROM THE JOB THAT IS THE HOST PROBABLY KICKING YOU BECAUSE YOUR ON CALL which means your in the lobby waiting to join in the game theres nothing you can do when your on call its a server sided thing im pretty sure
