Hackers boosting phone dial tone sound in public lobbies

I was just playing in a public lobby with no more than 8 - 10 people, all of a sudden someone joins the lobby, spams the text chat with scam links, and then this boosted sound audio was playing of a phone dial tone. Even when I joined a new session to see if it'll go away it followed me into that new session. It wasn't until I restarted my game that it stopped. Has this happened to anyone else here?

Hasn't happened to me yet, but there's been a good number of reports on the forum here recently of cheater trash now using that to annoy legit players. GTA Online on PC, same as it ever was, a hot mess.

It's happened to me numerous times, and the damn bastards make it so that you have to exit the game in order to get rid of it. Tried going into invite only, still ringing. Went into Story Mode, could still here it ringing. It's like at this point, I don't trust R* PERIOD! Oh we did a little security patch. we, we "fixed the chat so spammers can't spam no more. BULL FKING ♥♥♥♥! At this point, they have done NOTHING to fix it. They only have done things that risk them legally. Modders still know your IP address. They still can mass money, RP, and bounty you. It's ALL LIES. LIES, DECEPTION!

It has happened to me on multiple occasions. I'm also experiencing someone basically "attaching" themselves to me and no matter what lobby I'm in I get spammed with "me when has survived the -9999999999 bounty you placed on them" which makes me get spammed by Lester no matter if I'm in a mission or not... R* makes it extremely hard to enjoy the game as a casual/legit player, especially on PC.

UPDATE: Literally just restarted my game multiple times and the "me when" person is still doing it...I'm convinced they've infected the servers or something.

yeah that S hit and the survive hack R* isn't doin anything probably because they want the game to crash so they can go on with GTA VI....
