Anyone have a clue as to the issue of GTA Online crashing upon loading into a Invite Only Session

Hello,

I was wondering why when I went to try out this new update to get a few things to buy a few things to assist in making money. I went from a regular non-modded single player into an Invite Only Session and the game closed down before I could access the online area. Does this sound like the work of a modder / script kiddie or is there something else at play here that I'm not aware of??

If you went from singleplayer to invite only and crashed it is your issue.

Its some months now, that it is more unstable than the years before. It may crash due to modders, while it may also just crash randomly in your single-lobby, job, or heist. It may even crash randomly in your custom maps and it mostly has nothing to do with your system, if all is up to date.

Happened to me 2 days ago, two times in a row, going from Story Mode to Invite Only, just loaded the session and the game crashed within just seconds without any error message whatsoever. No script kiddie was involved, because I avoid public sessions like the plague they are, so I haven't attracted any unwanted attention. It's R*, they screwed up something again, ever since the Halloween update, my game has issues where it doesn't let me even connect to SC (not to mention the SC page in my internet browser not loading at all) sometimes to even access Story Mode, as you have to be logged in to your SC account to even play the offline portion of the game. Strange game design, but we're talking about R* here. So yea. It seems an issue with the game, not the script kiddie mayhem. Hope they fix it soon, but wouldn't really bet on that.

Same with invite-only. Works fine friend-only session for me, in invite only after first game launch GTAO crashes after 1-2 minutes of gameplay.

it is just gta deal with it
there are thousand of different hard and software combos available, some are less stable than others and R* also breaks some things during update so you have to wait sometimes for the next patch until it is fixed, if you are lucky it is solved quickly through hotfix or simply pray for the next season update

I just started the game, loaded into SP, then created a friends only session, and one minute after i joined the game it crashed. Then i started the game again, again i first started SP, but this time i created an invite only session, this worked perfectly fine, it didn't crash.

No idea if that was a coincidence or not, but from now on i will only play in invite only.
