Impossible to steal a jet

All I want to do is fly the Lazer. In the odd chance I do manage to get into the jet and take off, it gets blown out of the sky by anti-air. Can someone please put a link of a no more than 2 minute video of how to do steal one from the military base? Plenty of jets there but none of them easy to steal.

While we’re at it, what’s the nearest safe house to that base? If I buy the business just around the corner from the military base, can I save there?

You have to stay low to the ground when flying out of Fort Zancudo otherwise you get shot down. If you want to make it easy then buy a Hangar on Fort Zancudo and you wont get any stars until you actually steal the lazer, and then you'll only get 2 stars & no anti-air defenses.

Try this:
Keep looking backwards while ascending and flying out of Fort Zancudo until you're far away.
The airdefense doesn't fire as long as the base is in view.

Like others mentioned, stay low to the ground. I fly over the hangars staying low to the ground and cut left over the beach. others take the jet in the hangar and head straight south like in the video I listed. May not be the best video, but that method works

That'd be probably a hangar in the base itself.

also buy a hangar in the airbase, and you can go in and out without getting shot down

if you own hangar at zancudo base you only get 2 stars when taking lazer not enough for them to blow you up

That's a newb problem. those jets are dirt easy to steal. Just practice, you will get it.

Jump the ramp next to the freeway tunnel into the airbase, then drive for the middle jet and take off flying low over the mountains. simple
