If you want to play GTA5, do it.
A Hacker is not going to sneak into your computer and peek at your little Pee-Pee and then run and tell everybody how little it is.
NO THEY ARE NOT!!!!
Sheep.
Those modding kids aren't real hackers.
Many of them are just frustrated little basement kids that would use almost every opportunity in order to harm other players.
So yes, you should take this warning seriously.
- The recent exploit can indeed allow mod menu users to give you extreme attributes and get you perma-banned by the automated system.
- There is no way to appeal/reverse the ban. You lose your account and money.
- All that they need is your in-game name.
- They can hit you in ANY session type.
- R* pointed me to a thread where they acknowledged the recent exploit but all they seem to be doing is talk to the mod-menu makers. one apologized and removed the use of the exploit from the menu but the others still have it.
- They also indicated that the exploit has a *potential* to hack your PC.
- But... they seem to be doing nothing to fix the issue. Instead they are actively trying to suppress the news as they closed my thread, pointed me to the official one saying that it discusses the issue extensively (a lie, there was only one post about it - theirs), and I could not even reply to the admin that did it.
Given the above I can only conclude that Online is best treated as dead as it the exploit can get your account banned making even story mode unusable.
Maybe R* may fix the code and eliminate the exploit if enough people leave Onlune, or they may not as they think people will buy GTA 6 instead (I will not since I do not buy games from companies with this kind of attitude) and all estimates seem to indicate that we will not see GTA 6 online before 2027.
RIP GTA.
Yeah this is fair. Fair as it gets. Totally fair
I doubt R* don't have saves to rollack perma ban victims.
Tez is not just some random guy. He's one of the most reputable one that has been monitoring R* Games exploits for years now.
He wouldn't adress this issue if there wasn't one.
Therefore I've got more faith in his words rather than in those of some random steam guy using some ape avatar trying to underplay the problem ^^
I never said that.
Freakin' Unicorns might exists .... on Twitter? .... use YOUR BRAIN IF YOU GOT ONE.
FREAKIN' NOOBS
Your like Charlie Brown and Lucky with the Football ...
you are that Sucker that's born every minute.
I played along for a few hours.
I looked into the current status of GUARDIAN and went to see if they wanted any BETA Guinea Pigs. About a Day in people started asking ...
Which menu, which menu maker?
Then as par for the course the GTAForum users and Reddit bunch started asking for code to back this crap up ...
from a bunch of nit-wits that walked away from PC eons ago.
FREAKIN' NOOB .... go for it, Lucy has the day off, and Yan was busy, but I swear this time I won't jerk the Ball away ... promise.
