When will RockStar Games release pre-order and pc requirements?

So just wondering when you guys think all this info will be completely be avaliable? Just curious since it's rumored that the game will be out by Novemember and we still haven't heard any more news since E3.

It's all about the money, not the quality of the product. You decide, $60 right now, or buy it for much less, if you can wait a Steam sale.

Buit that being said normally Steam doesn't put sales up on recent releases from popular companies. If it does put a sale on it, it would only end up saving you a few dollars. Unless your willing to wait another six months for it to drop to 40 dollars which doesn't make any sense in my eyes.

For me, even $40 would be too much if I can wait longer to get it cheaper. You know, GTA IV was recently on sale for $5. That doesn't mean that I would wait for years to get GTA V for $5, but I wish to buy it at least for under $20.

I m the same way. The reason PC gaming is so attractive to me besides the quality of games. Is saving money on purchasing games(gotta make that PC investment back lol). But I'll buy Gta 5 probably winter sale, expect 33% off. Bought Batman AO last winter sale for $25 and that game had only been out for 6 weeks.

But with that Rocksteady hadn't made it and the other company had been new to the batman games and it wasn't doing so well review wise. assuming the PC port is decent I can't foresee a price drop too drastic from Rockstar especially at the winter sale.

It's pretty stupid. The game will not sell out. Why give the store/publisher an advance of your money when there is no need to actually reserve a copy? The pre-order bonuses by nature cannot be vital to the game. So it's all a ploy to get your money and attention locked in early. When there is no need to lock in, as it will not sell out. Pre-orders take the responsibility away from the publisher to put out a quality game. If they already have your money, who cares if it's good? They just need a hot trailer, some sweet box art, and you're already sold. So why would you pre-order?

why shouldn't we preorder? It only benefits us anyways and most of us already know what we are buying and have played it before so it's not like it's a rip-off? It's the same price at release so there is no genuine point to waiting if in the end we get the game anyways.

R* doesn't have a stellar rep on PC. GTA 4/EFLC & L.A. Noire were horrible ports and unoptimized. Took 2 years of patches, over powered hardware, & mod'er to make GTA4/eflc playable. MP3 was R* only game to be amazingly optimized for PC, because it wasn't a port. Now I do have hope that GTA 5 will be great (also run like a beast), but still no excuse to preorder. I think its foolish, before you find out how buggy it is or isn't.




He is an elitist pompous pc gamer for sure. But he's honest, entertaining, & makes some good points occasionally. But I do find his rig to be way overkill lol. I mean 2 titans good lord what a waste of cash.

LA Noire wasn't actually a bad port. The only cross thing anyone can say about it was that it's loked at 30fps, and there were technical reasons behind that. They gave us DX11, tesselated lighting etc.

That wasn't all. If you had a controller connected, you got all kinds of problems.

really? I only ever played it with a 360 game pad. No issues. That means isolated incidents.

Yeah, but I couldn't use my keyboard to drive when I had a controller connected. And other stuff. Don't get me wrong... I liked the game, but it wasn't a great port.
