Game won't load. Any ideas?

I select story mode and it just sits there loading and says "entering story mode." That's it. I left it there for 5 hours and still doesn't load. Any ideas?.

edit: i uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times. Then to fix the screen size I had to edit the resolution manually through notepad. Now it works

I can't go into the options menu to try and fix it because I can't see the options. They are where the screen cuts off. Is there anyway to fix this game?

no, just verify the game files, but if u have modded files ,remove them before u do it

Open my documents - rename rockstar games to rockstar games-old. This will remove saves, settings, and attempt to fix some other issues. Try again, don't use cloudsaves when it asks, use local.

Completely possible for you to be having multiple issues. (including other reasons for resolution/screensize/etc not to be correct/resolve itself--- onedrive, gpu drivers, mods (uninstall/reinstall doesn't remove many of them including dinput8.dll- need manual removal), commandline.txt, launch options, etc)

Hello, I have a issues, my game just load infinitely, does this method can help me fix it and if yes can you explain how to do it please, it's been 3 days no stop of trying to fix this mess
