Is there any error message or anything? Can you log in to their website?

Yes login on rockstar social is working. Game offline is also working. Just the game isn’t connecting to social. It is only while trying to go to GTA online, it says GTA online is not available and the social is showing this.

Rebooting your network might solve the problem, but if it continues, try reinstalling the Social Club application.
Was also getting a slow connection to social club, but I am new to playing the game and recently my store page for steam doesnt even load. Never had this problem.

I think there are lot of hackers in GTA 5, and even single player is not safe.

I also mentioned this to steam customer support, and may be they can confirm this is an issue.

I am basically blocked from using steam store during the christmas sales.

When you said rebooting network, you simply meant, turning it off and on, yes? I tried and didnt work. Reinstalled social club, didnt work either.

Edit: came across the same solution online and i guess you meant resetting the network from settings. Tried that along with removing the social club folder from documents but it still didnt work.

This just happened to me today, and for you to fix the issue. First, uninstall both the Rockstar Launcher and the Social Club applications. Make sure to check the "Remove saved Social Club profile data" box before proceeding to uninstall the Rockstar Launcher.

After that, head to C:Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V and delete Profiles. Install it as you normally would and try launching the game using Rockstar Launcher instead of Steam Library.

Adding my 2 cents to the subject. This happened to me as well right now and I just went in to C:\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V\Profiles\<My Profile> where <MyProfile> is the folder name under Profiles. There I deleted the 2 files cfg.dat and cloudsavedata.dat and restarted the game, and then it worked. When I restarted I had to re-type my credentials and then got a question to choose between a local data file and a cloud saved data file since they didn't match (which they shouldn't since you deleted the 2 files and a new local one was automatically created). Be sure to select the cloud saved one.
