I HAVE TRIED VERIFYING THE GAME CACHE. I HAVE DONE IT LIKE FIVE TIMES. DIDN'T WORK.
And I can't run the game as a Admin, it only allows me to launch it through the Rockstar launcher. I haven't done a full reinstall yet A: Because I don't want to wait ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ forever for it to reinstall only to find it doesn't work. And B: Because I don't want to risk losing all my progress I've made in Story Mode or Online.
As for the drivers, I dunno if there's any problems with them? I haven't checked, but if the game has been able to function up to this point, then surely they're okay?
This doesn't address the random crashing - there are far too many reasons for it to just randomly crash, many being system dependent. (including N/KN windows missing media feature pack(or roughly 'fixed'), under/overclocks, OS updates, mods/leftover mods or other trash in game folder), corrupt files, background programs, av/security, and on and on).

It just didn't. I start up the game, it opens and starts playing the Rockstar Logo with the window smashing, the police sirens and such. Then at some point during that opening, the game freezes up and stops responding. Completely. It doesn't even load up into Story Mode or Online mode.
Then it either stays like that before crashing, or I end up closing it myself.
The fix that psykoteky suggested would reset my settings to their default, but it didn't fix the problem.
And you just confirmed you maybe tried one thing he mentioned. Why i asked, because as usual most people ignore half the advice given. Good luck
No need to be rude. I did try them, and they didn't work.
Besides, I've been able to run the game for like eight years on these drivers and they've never given me any problems before. I don't want to go messing and downgrading them and such just to find that the game still doesn't work.
I already spent all day uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
The game is ever evolving, updating, what worked 8 years ago doesn't have to work anymore, because R* is constantly fidling with the executable (seen recently as it's shown in Task Manager not as GTAV.exe anymore but as "TODO: <file destription>", no kidding, you can inspect the executable yourself, in it's properties it reads the same thing). I've been playing for two years now without any issue whatsoever and after the Halloween update (the time they changed their executable into that "TODO" thing, maybe they prepare for GTA VI, if it works on the same engine, might as well use the same exe, who knows, they apparently have their reason for such nonsensical change) the game simply decided not to launch and telling me, that I'm in offline mode and should check my internet connection. 2 years of the very same connection and it suddenly doesn't work anymore? So yea. I had to instal a VPN to bypass this crap and enable the game to work again. I've never used, nor required a VPN before, but now I totally do. So if Soosmokie tells you that you should try things that Psykoteky advises you to do, then you should, no questions asked. Your drivers might have worked, but with the recent changes they may not work anymore with the game. This is definitely on R*'s end, but just waiting for them to fix it, might take unnecessary long for you. If you're fine with the time not playing the game, then that's your decision, but don't blame others, who try to help you. But you can also try to do things on your end to temporarily fix stuff for R*'s clearly broken game. At least you'll be able to play it for the time they figure it out and do something about it (if ever).
A side note, as my issue with logging into R*SC in game (claiming I'm in offline mode), I'm also unable to log into R*SC web page in the browser (with the VPN shut down that is), which is actually required in case I would like to send them a ticket with the issue. So the VPN enables both the game to be played and the R*SC page to be accessed and thus R* Support for tickets.
Jesus christ man-
I was just asking for help, I'm not blaming anyone here.
If Soosmokie is rude for asking questions and confirming, what he thought (you ignoring most of Psykoteky's advises), then you have some weird idea of rudeness, my dear.
