Game keeps crashing
I just got this game on my pc and it keeps crashing in the middle of missions. My pc is fine cause it can run other high end games just fine. Anybody know how to fix it?

Hard to tell w/o the trusty crystal ball. Likely old drivers/bad pc. Leave your pc on a week and see if it crashes at any point, honestly one of the better ways to check for instability.

Assuming you’re not at 90+ degrees (or 65+ with older amd’s).

what? worst advice ever. leave PC on a week to check for instability?
That's hilarious at how horrible that advice is.

More details are needed. specs, when does it crash? are your resources maxed out? Crash logs? any changes before playing? More info is needed as you could be having 1 of thousands of issues

If other games run fine its probably GTA V /Online. there may be stuff you can do. Like cap the fps to 120 using vsync. The game has crashed for me too, I got it fixed by Verifying game files. also capping fps improves performance for this game. Not 144 or 165 but 120. If your monitor hz is 60, cap the fps to 60. //

It's the best/easiest to explain to people. If it crashes by just sitting idle/daily tasks something is wrong, likely ram. I've never had ramtests ever detect an issue with bad ram...but it ruins the gaming experience.

I see where your getting at, But if you use the correct Ram tests, you can find the issues. Not windows built in memory test either. A benchmark would be faster and less time consuming which everyone here is impatient. Memtest86 is what I use for Ram tests. Never had a faulty stick not spotted by this software. These alone can tell a lot. I also am sorry for how rude I was.
