Grand Theft Auto V Legacy

Statistiche:
TODO <File Description>
ever since about a week ago gta v has been having extreme lag spikes every 1-2 mins and the file name in task manager changed to Todo file description and I was wondering it was a known bug right now? I swear it's only happened in GTA v it's not a PC issue.

Yes known.

this doesn't really explain why it was fine pre GTA v update if it's a "hardware issue"
Then TODO is as pointless as adding it to the original post(thread title too) as well (especially since TODO happened far more than a week ago...). Every pc is different, many things change. This includes gpu drivers, connectivity issues (many can't even connect - who is to say those connecting aren't 'having issues' there as well).

The possibilities are endless. I posted 'about' TODO Oct 28 - around that time is when the 'update' hit. If you haven't played 'since' around that time when the update hit..... There have been updates in the past that have caused issues - and then you step into other troubleshooting steps. Does it do it in storymode? Does it do it with -scofflineonly? Does it do it here? There? At some people people don't care to troubleshoot 28934723798423 things (myself included anymore -.-).

I mean.. you wouldn't be the first to say gtav has problems but not actually played it in a month.. or 2.. or 3. God knows what happened on the system since. I certainly don't experience any of these issues people are proclaiming now but.. hey - diff systems.

EDIT -
I'm not insisting it is your computer's fault. I'm saying it COULD be MANY things based on the fact of all the different pc, configs, hardware, drivers (dear god lets not get started there), or again - connectivity issues. You said a week ago, I'm saying the update pushed 6ish weeks ago - by that measure you have 5 weeks unaccounted for.

So, you got your reddit posts and 100% believe it has nothing to do with your hardware - so why ask? Brought on by newest update - all R*'s fault. Feel free to contact their support and jump through the hoops with them, alert them to this error, or wait for the update. It wouldn't be the first time they introduced a 'bug' with an update, just as it wouldn't be the first time everyone blamed R* and it was something entirely different. There have even been problems across different r*, egs, steam per updates but I digress.

considering there's similar issues on the GTA online Reddit I 100% believe it's not my computer considering the issue only happens to GTA v and not any other game loading off the hdd, and multiple people are reporting the same issue, why are you so insistent it's my computers fault when several people are experiencing the same thing post update.
Several isn't alot, loads of people don't have issues with it.
so for anyone who stumbles upon this thread nvidias 526 driver is broken for gta v and causes huge stutters.
been happening since july nothing new
