armored Kuruma or glitched Stirling GT against bullets
Fully loaded Ruiner 2000 or nightshark against explosives
There's armor plating which helps make the car more secure and durable, and then there's bullet proof glass.. Sadly there's not one car that has both.. you can do armored kuruma for protection from any bullets except for 1) Full Metal Jacket rounds or 2) Explosive Rounds/Explosives in general. You'll lose armor, but your hp won't dip as long as you stay in the kuruma.. but it can be blown up with a single missile..
Then there's cars like the Nightshark.. super durable car (even more so when you're driving), requiring over 20 mk2 missiles to destroy one.. but you can be shot and killed through the windows and you can't use a weapon.
Overall, my personal favorite is a fully loaded Weaponized Tampa.. They are a bit tricky to control as they like to spin around a lot.. but with rear firing mortars, forward firing (non-homing) missiles and a directional mini-gun turret controlled by the driver (not passenger), this is my go to for doing a lot of things where I have to shoot from inside a car.
I've never figured or found out any of the Faggio tricks.. I find them to be slow and a waste.. how are people making them so good they swear by them?
You have to do that one mission that gives you the secret trade price for all Faggios.
The trade price version comes with a slew of features that are not present with the normal-priced Faggios
Against bullets:
Armored kuruma
Stirling (until it is patched)
Halftrack (fully bulletproof front) side no.
Against missiles:
MOC
Insurgent pick up
Nightshark
Best overall protection:
Egt ... the new electric imani car. Can withstand 12 homing and and 12 rpg. Plus lock on jammer.
STX: Less missile protection but good control.
Best offensive imani:
Igson weaponized (latest version) : Speed, imani tech, and evasion.
Weaponized Tampa: It can take 1 missile but it's loaded for assault.
Fully loaded Ruiner: For 20 minutes, you can be god. Use it for defense as it is equally bad griefing others.
