intels tcase temp is about 73°c
it will damage your cpu in the long run
clean your cooler, remove dust, make sure you have airflow. if not add some case fans
gta5 is also a cpu hog. having decent cooling is important
yea, i think i read that max i7 2600 temp should be 73-76. but with all other games it never goes over 70. im not sure if those temps i wrote in original post are just peaks of temps or something. its just readings from hwmonitor, after playin, readings of max temp.
gta5 has a lot of physics going on. high cpu usuage is normal, the temperature on the other hand not.
check the thermal compound, remove dust, see if the case fans are aligned in the right direction.
bottom and front should suck the air in, while back and top should pump out the warm air
which paste to use is not that important as long you dont do oc. its more a matter of how much to use. putting too much thermal compound can disturb the temerature exchange
u should use a laptop where the IDLE temp is 110C, at load it goes around 145C it still lives my dude!!¨
you SHOULD NOT be worried
thank you
Some has to learn the difference between celsius and fahrenheit
