GTA V exited unexpectedly!!
Guys please help me its been months since i bought a retail copy of GTA 5 and it has not worked once. I tried contacting rockstar, even posted a ticket but their help was of no use. Whenever i try to start the game, it starts downloading an update and even after i allow the download to complete, the game shows me the error that it has exited unexpectedly. I have searched a lot on the web but nothing seems to work.
Please help me guys.

How do I install sp1?

So i downloaded and installed sp1 but am still getting the same error :(

Game is loading on drive d but is installed on drive c...also display is Window size: 690 x 496...much too small to run this game.

So what should i do now?
Social club is installed in C but the game is in D. The earlier message is shown because it is unable to start the social club because the internet was off.

Yes the sp1 installed without any issue and since i have never played gta 5, i do not have any mods. When it asked me to retry, i did. Also tried to run the safe mode but still dint work.
I think my windows is genuine.
Please help me....i really want to play this game

Yes i installed the correct version and checked the windows is not running a demo period.
Also i gave the post a read but could not understand most of the technical, but from what i understood, i deleted social club from program files and program files(x86), the downloaded it again and copied libcef.dll and subprocess.exe from program files (x86) and pasted them onto the folder in program files. Still the game is giving the same error.

I have an original retail copy of the game (7cd one) but since i am desparate to play the game, do you think i should try and install some cracks? Would they work? If yes could you suggest me some...
If not, i would really appreciate your help in getting this game fixed.

I thought I'd join since I've recently fixed mine, although it had a different error code.

I can't guarantee that any of these will work, but it is worth trying:
- disabling antivirus and firewall before launching GTA (be sure to enable it afterwards)
- performing a Windows "clean boot", then launching GTA - read this article to find out how: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/929135#mt3
- setting GTAVLauncher.exe and subprocess.exe to run as admin

Also, I'm assuming your OS is 64-bit, right? Don't get me wrong; just making sure you meet the requirements and everything.

Have you tried reinstalling Visual C++ and DirectX redistributables? These should be under the _CommonRedist folder in your GTAV directory.

Well no offence, but that was the first thing i had done. Still i redid it and to no surprise, the game still isn't working.
