It doesn't have a very good range, you are also very slow when moving around with it so there's your balance.

The funny thing is my pc somehow can't deal with this thing. Normally i get something like 80-150fps, but as soon as I'm to close to a minigun my game starts lagging as ♥♥♥♥.

i was thinking the same thing afew times when i started using it in survival and destroying all the npc very quickly. haha that weapon is a big cheat if you have the accuracy skill. basically a 2 second death for anyone it gets aimed at. i dont know why rockstar even added the homing launcher. with the minigun it can take a helicopter out really quickly if you shoot the tail rotor. but hey at lease its not as OP as last gen consoles before patch. i remember the guns on early ps3/xbox 360 versions of the game had no recoil or kick. just aim the dot and shoot. so the minigun was super OP back then. you could put a dot on a fighter jet done and shoot the pilot out with the minigun back then. but they patched it to where all guns now have bullet spread and range limit with damage. which made some weapons like smgs and ap pistol useless in pvps. i dont use the minigun on players because its cheap but i like to use it on npc like cops or gangs. i dont know what else to say besides i hope the next gta focuses on balanced weapons and not OP ones that outwit anyone trying to have fun.
