Camera angles in stunt races
I've lost so many races because of how hard it is to drive a car through a loop with that forced camera angle. Is there a way to disable it?(the forced camera angle) I've tried playing in first person but it's even worse.

It's super easy! Everytime you encounter a loop switch your camera to 1st person so you can prevent yourself from falling (Sorry for my bad english)

Ive heard players with controllers have the view locked behind the car. Ive also heard if you dont touch your mouse for a long time the view will lock behind car.

For me, I just close my eyes when I go through a loop. Its better than trying to drive while watching your car from the front......

Those are still not good reasons to have Rockstar (a big game company) to not fix their camera angles.

You are just as blind in first person. When going through these curving loops or tubes, all you can see in front of you is the curve of the track. You still have no idea if your race line is on the right path or not. Though i guess it's better for once you reach the end of the loop when your view starts to clear up, then you have a chance to quickly correct i suppose.

As has been mentioned, apparently you have to let go of your mouse and not touch the camera at all when coming up on these loops, then it will supposedly stay locked behind you. i havnt bothered to even test this theory yet since the whole situation pisses me off so much. I think it is a bug and it will be fixed by next update hopefully.

edit: it might be all down to camera settings. I've tested these settings as in my screenshot and it helps alot, might just be camera auto centering, try it for yourself

Change a setting in Options that auto-corrects the camera
For example when u are driving and if you go to look to one side it auto-centers towards the front again. Turn that off.

If your camera gets wacky for some reason, quickly press Look-Behind and then let go.

I bind look-behind to a mouse button in GTA 4 and 5 for these sorts of reasons.

I find if you leave your mouse alone right before the stunt jump, when it re centers behind your car, it will leave a perfect view, aslong as you dont move the mouse or you're fcked. Alt. go first person, thats what I do along with not touch my mouse.

It doesn't seem to make NO difference for me, i can move the mouse however i want, the center doesn't change. If my center falls off somehow, jumping to 1st person or clicking look-behind re-centers it.

I tried out a few R*s custom stunt races with large loops, tubes, and corkscrews.
(using keyboard/mouse)
Its realy annoying and aweful, course the 3rd person camera angle always reversing if you are in a loop or tubes.
In large corkscrews, the camera angle is diagonal reversed, so you really can't see which way you are going to. (Playing in first person view, forces you to look to the wall/floors only)
Also nobody wants to play normal custom races with corksrews and huge wallrides, this because of the reversed angles..
It's a shame, also for cunning stunts future custom build maps.
I really don't understand why R* implemented this kind of camera angle bull crap.
They have to fix this because this kind of custom races are totaly unplayable.

Why would u drive with KB/Mouse; especially in non-Shooting driving/racing?

I could see if was shooting involved, but with Controller, it is natural and effortless.

Good example of how the console version does not have this issue
https://youtu.be/4w2JjuW6_JY
Mute the video and skip to about half way, going thru the tubes the camera stays behind the car

That is still a bad reason to not have them fix the camera.
