Textures dont load fast enough.
I got an AMD A8 integrated card that runs black ops 2 fallout nv and 4, can run blackops 3, but when runnning gtaV the textures dont load fast enough so I cant drive cause I cant see.

also framerate is smooth if only the textures would load faster, its also not as much a problem when just running around.:steamfacepalm:

One tid bit. Just because you can run a game that everyone and their grandmother can run to which you don't need anything powerful at all to run, hell a toaster can run the game, doesn't mean you can run this title and expect the same performance.

Depends on the res you are attempting to run aswell. But yeah you should post specs to clear out doubts

hmm actually if my machine can run blackops2 new vegas fallout4 and thousand other titles it is a software issue and not a hardware noobs

Well since you clearly know its only gta 5 that runs like ♥♥♥♥ on your potato pc you got it all figured it out. New Vegas is old, fallout 4 uses literally a moded version of skyrim engine, doesnt require a gtx titan to run those champ

do you have a geforce gtx or any thing because amd cards are slow running gta5
RaccoonBadger May 17, 2016 @ 7:02pm
cause a game lag and textures missing in game

i can tell you from personal expeririance the A8 CPu is to weak for GTA i had the slow texture issue too in my old HP pavilion with a A8 CPU even with an over powered graphics card the textures and whole world would miss entire chunks an would be driving in air till world loading could catch up and nothing could fix it properly.. only slightly work around was closing as many programs as possible and openign task manager and setting GTAV.exe prioritty to highest. hope this helps and isnt a hope killer about playing gtaV/onlone

That's already a bad card.

This is true.

Go search ''what are my specs'' and click the first thing on Google.

My specs

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6300HQ CPU @ 2.30GHz

Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M

Video Card #2 Intel(R) HD Graphics 530

RAM 8.0 GB

Operating System Microsoft Windows 10 (build 10586), 64-bit

game runs beast like playing on an XBOX.

You're using a integrated chip in your cpu, CPUs don't have much dedicated video ram,if you have smooth fps it's most likely you don't have enough video ram.

when you run Self Radio textures will load much more slowly then normal. It sucks but it's a known issue and one that rockstar refuses to adress. It makes the game a pain in the ass when your on a Bati 801 and you hauling serious speed.

I am having a similar issue. The game was running great just a couple months ago, but I came back to play and its unplayable now due to the textures not loading in and stuttering framerates. I've tried reinstalling Nvidia drivers, reverting back to previous drivers, lowering every setting to minimum, defragging hard disk, turning off custom music, changing priority in Task Manager, even reinstalling the game on a different hard drive. At this point I don't know what else to try.

It's annoying that the game was running really well not too long ago, and then I come back and it runs like garbage.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!

Ya I figured it out, frames per second is ok, maybe smooth 20fps. But the computer only has 1g of video ram so it takes the game a while to load textures. But after a few min, the game starts to load up road textures and stuff.
