Sweet Spot Mouse Aiming Settings
DPi to 1750. report rate to 1000 . acceleration on. gta in game settings. go to graphics option and put borderless windows (fixes laggy mouse glitch) and go to mouse settings. put the bar to 0 on both mouse sensitivity and smoothing. then put up to 1 percent. and put fine aiming option on. i dont know what it really does but just in case.

this will only improve on AI. for some reason ai have huge hit boxes and you dont really need to be accurate to get headshots on them. players are another story. there are some cheap tricks to kill players in a split second without accuracy but im not saying what it is. its dirty to play like that and even i dont do it. btw if you ask about DPI its only if you have a gaming mouse, if you have a regular mouse. go buy a gaming mouse. regular mouses are bad and not optimize for precision.

So basically I need to double my polling rate and dpi, which gives me more jittering, 500hz is better for me, 2x dpi will most likely mess up my aim, because I already have almost 0 sens in gta, can't lower it much.

Only problem with mouse sens which I have seen in gta5, is tied to frames, when your frames changes, even if it's above 60, your mouse sens changes too.

Using a lower polling rate does not increase DPI, but rather increases latency.

If you are experiencing "jittering", then you have an issue that you need to address.

As with all games, higher frame rate results in lower latency. This is not specific to GTA and is not affecting sensitivity.

ahhh you lost me at the frame part. how is dpi set to frames? i could not even set my dpi to 65. which is my refresh rate. i could only set it to 200. which it has a hard time moving the camera if i do that

Then why do you recommend to turn it on?

mouse settings are different than in game settings

Acceleration is acceleration, regardless.

I didn't say that. Please reread.
All of this is personal preference. Not many other people will be comfortable with your settings.

I know what polling rate is and does, with my mouse settings and pad it causes "too much" jitter with 1000hz, so I use 500hz.

500->1000hz latency is minimal anyway, it's like saying that is 2ms monitor is way better than 5ms.

For example some cs pro players use 500hz polling rate, although I only use it because I have to. Besides gamers used to play with 125hz and they had good aim regardless.

As above user said, it's all about personal preference, heck even top quake pro player (fatal1ty) prefered to use mouse acceleration in quake/arena shooters.

While the difference between 500hz and 1000hz is little (in fact, smaller than the example you listed) it can add up.

The thing that gets me about your situation is that you are having issues using an option. I'd focus on resolving the issue, rather than settle.

125hz? Well, we also used to play games at frame rates way less than 30 FPS on old tube televisions... That wasn't an option. You have better options but are having an issue, and instead of resolving said issue... You settle.

It is all personal preference... That is not what I'm questioning... I'm questioning why one would just accept poor performance and settle for less. You and the OP clearly have an issue that you are just ignoring.
