Can a modder steal your gta money? I won a challenge and got 3k for it and had 8k in the maze bank and now it's all gone.

Can't say for certain, but...

Much like when a modder/hacker/cheater takes your weapons away, it functions like a one-time use per server(peer-to-peer), it's temporary and a simple hop into a new session will return your weapons. Money may work the same way, but I have never had a modder/hacker/cheater take my money. This is merely from experience.

The servers are peer-to-peer but Rockstar has systems in place to keep your account information in sync with their cloud data, assuming no problems occur between information updates, in which case you'll get warnings or notifications saying that GTA couldn't contact Rockstar servers.

Thing is Rockstar is pretty picky about players giving money away to each other via money drops and or just themselves, naturally. So sometimes Rockstar could correct your money if it detects it as "hacked" money. This is an automated function and or triggered by a Rockstar employee of sorts, quite likely an automatic function.

If you have had legit money deducted from your previous balance, you might want to contact Rockstar support, though many have had ill luck on such efforts.

Uh, you say you had 8k in the bank, and it's gone. Where was the Shark Card money? I don't know how much a 100 buck SC is, but it's a lot more than 8k.

If you really did lose Shark Card money, open a ticket on the official support site. They're very serious about Shark Card money going missing.

Regardless, there is nothing we can do for him aside from provide insight as to what might have happened.

Rockstar support is his only hope.

Harry I mentioned it like that because when I was writing this I just then noticed the money I just won ( the challenge ) and the money I got for selling a car to the guy who paints the cars gone. I did not think it was poss that someone could do that when I was first robbed. I'm still learning the game so I did not want to get all hyped up on it and have it be somewhere. but I been personaly attacked by ppl who would have fences lock me in. or have a millions planes fall on me .or they would take all my ammo I just bought. this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

yeah I guess that is all there is to do.... I did some research about about #Rockstar and their customer service and someone wrote on some review not to bother even calling them because they will hang up on you the moment you mention the word banned. I'll admit I LOL at that one. So there is only one thing to do and that is LEARN.

Never bought any Shark cards, but a friend I know had this issue, file a Rockstar support case and you'll get the GTA Dollars back + a bonus if the system somehow messed up.

sol this is the email I got back, they are not even going to even look over the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing. I hope someone goes to their office and lays heat on them. they are making billions and can't even review ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ emails. what is their address ????

thats what they give everyone who complains about a ban, i could have told you that.
as they said bans are caused by quite a few things all of which are listed at the code of conduct page.

rockstar does not look over bans just because you emailed them, they research bans on their own not just because some one claims the ban was a mistake.
