Director mode stuck on infinite load

So for whatever reason director mode decided to stop working all the suddenly, one minute i could load it up no problem, next time i try to start it however, the little sh't gets stuck on an infinite load screen. I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the very few mods i have installed.

Anyone knows why this crap is happening?

Restart the game. Go to the game in Steam and verify the integrity of your game files. If this doesn't work, you have to do some more research and brainstorming.

Right click GTA/properties/ local game files.

I also forgot if I did. This was 5 years ago. Haven't really played this game very much since.
