Differences between Online Public and Online Invite Only ?
Hi, what are the differences between Online Public session and Online Invite only session?

And how can I always start in a private session instead of public game?

What are the pros and cons of each?

Thanks!

Start in offline/single player then select online from main menu.

Public: random public server. Full of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like me. All game modes available.

Private: no a-holes. Limited game modes. Invite your friends. Safe. No cheaters/modders.

Thanks, I am trying to see the list of game mode restrictions but cant find.

Do you know which modes you can do on your own private session?

Basically I am trying to get some money, buy garage, etc in private session, so I can then go to the full online mode and not worry about it.

As mentioned above,
Public puts you in a session filled with random players. Can be people you don't know, It usually tries to put you in a lobby with at least one friend in there but that can't always be guruanteed.
It a good way If you don't want to play alone but don't have anyone to play with. It has most, if not all, of the activities avalible within that lobby for you to do.

If you find Public is a pain in the ass, people keep killing you or something, Invite only allows you to play in a session by yourself, you can invite people who you want to be playing with. They, however can invite people too. Your activites are limited ingame, For example you can't do the CEO game mode in an invite only session.

Private session you will have to go Singleplayer first, then do "invite only session", If you chose online at launch you wont be able to go into an invite only session.

Good way to earn money solo is to do Missions, or Heists in a group of 4. They don't take place in the session so you don't need to worry about getting killed a lot. Just load up the game, go to the menu, online, jobs and chose a mission. Some missions are easy solo some are quite hard but they should earn you about $25K each mission, Heists earn a lot more. You will also get a very decent amount of RP in the process levelling you up quite quickly. It's best if you find a group of friends to do heists with, playing with randoms can be tedious due to lack of communication but if you get a group and talk to eachother, the rewards are well worth it.

Thanks but I dont have any friends that play this, so my only option is really to go solo invite only.

Even if it takes me much longer, I am ok with it.

I am reading now some guides for new players to get some money fast. :D

The missions depend on the amount of time it takes you to finish. You can actually wait before driving or going to the final checkpoint and get more money, but it's not worth it. I think 8K to 10K for 8 mins or so is the sweet spot.

You'll need to buy the heavy heist vest/outfit from Ammunation for heists and setups. Low level players are likely to be kicked, but if you have one of those, it shows you know what you're doing and you might not get kicked. There are some heist setups that are easy and very fast to do and will get you 20k. Pacific Standard Post-Op (first setup) is the easiest and can be done in about 7 minutes. If you are the driver, you don't have to do anything, it's all up to the navigators who can drive along and photo the license plates. All you have to do is not F things up by crashing into Post-Op vans and not dying by killing yourself. There are no enemies.
