Duping cars cause a ban?

Ive seen a lot of people complain about getting banned for nothing and I also see a lot of people duping cars to sell. Anyone know if duping cars can cause a ban?

People have been banned for taking advantage of bugs in game, yes.

There was some speculation about license plates triggering the bans with duped cars a while ago, but they keep the methods of cheat detection to themselves for obvious reasons.

You can spawn cars, like the Hearse, for other people and not get banned.

Idk about duplicating vehicles though. That seems like something with cheats would be doing.

Most threads people make on here about getting banned for "nothing" are just people that realize how much they want to play the game after getting banned. So they lie to the community in hopes that we can fix it.

Because average Joe Shmoe on the Steam forums has access to R* servers. And i'm the Pope.

But yes, duping vehicles will get you banned - It was what people were banned for before mods came around.

This is true, in the very early stages of online, on xbox360 and ps3, there were so many glitches in the game that players took advantage of. Making them millions even in a very short time, these were banned in large numbers.

And one of the things they were banned for, were dublicating cars.

Looks like this game you get banned quite easy even when it not your fault and it hackers. This is why one reason i dont support MP games. especially DLC for mp you buy all that then get banned for no reason.

I have GTAV not steam version but disc and never played MP but completed SP and would buy SP DLC.
