Are the shark card game bundles worth it?
I played GTA V single player years ago on PS3. I haven't played any of the multiplayer. Is it worth it getting any of the shark card game bundles or will I be fine by just getting the base game? The discounts seem pretty good right now during the summer sale...

I've heard people say they aren't anymore because you can make money easy now just grinding missions. However, the problem I'm having (just got the game last Friday) is I get kicked from pretty much every kind of game I try to join, I'm guessing because I'm only level 20. So I'm almost thinking a 8 Mil shark card might be worth it while they're on sale because I honestly don't know how I'm supposed to get money or XP when no one lets to do any missions.

Honestly? No.
You can just farm missions and heists for money. While it's time consuming, it's free and helps you learn how to play quicker.

For the record, you can do various Contact Missions (for Lester, for example) solo in 5-10 minutes a pop. Each paying out 10k - 17k, depending on how long you're playing them for.

depends, do you want to grind alot ? then no not worth it. If not then yes. Its alot harder now making money than it was years ago when muiltiplayer came out.

Also with missions needing 4 players you can guarantee another player will fail it for you time and again.

Its not even a lot of money for the prices if you want to buy cars and apartment or yachts etc. The shark cards wont give you much.

I think that its not worth even the contrac missions paying so low when compared to the time when i use to play the game on my xbox360... Its better to farm heists with friends or if you're going to play contract mission do it on first person mode for you to get more cash and rp but it need to be set on the missions settings .

I don't mind SOME grinding, but I don't want it to be all that I'm doing. I also don't want to have problems joining games like Deadric mentioned. I think I am leaning toward getting a bundle, the question now is, which one? The 8 million one does seem to be like the best deal.

I cant say much because where i live everything is overpriced and even with the promo its kinda expensive.

8 million is best bet, if i was to buy it again thats the deal i would go for.

I bought it a couple weeks ago when it was on sale (early june). I bought the 3.5 million + game bundle. I wish I had spent the extra 10 - 15 bucks to get the 8 million. Hindsight is 20/20 right?

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Definitely going with the 8 mil bundle.

You can hire a gamer to sit at your computer and grind the missions for you for less than the shark card. Just be sure to provide pizza and spray deodorant on the seat after they're done.

It's only money. And don't spend all that GTA$ at once. Save some as you need to level up to unlock guns n cars.

it's really not. you just need to do daily objectives on two characters for 28 days and you'll make 2.6 million dollars from that alone. from there you can buy a office, a nice apartment at alta 3 and maybe a small warehouse or medium warehouse. after that it's easy to make money from cargo and ceo/vip missions in freeroam lobbies. Much more fun then grinding missions like los santos connection.

I recommend you to get one shark card to buy a ($525.000) house that has heist room otherwise you wont be able to host your own heist.
