"The mission has been disrupted. Return later to start the mission."

There is an FIB mission (marked "B" on the map, on the right side of the island, near the lighthouse) later in the game of the SP campaign, and anytime I get close to the marker, I get the above message, and the other characters (Michael & Franklin, if I'm playing with Trevor, for example) run off... this is my 3rd or 4th full playthrough of the game, and this never happened before, it's a new problem. I tried to find a solution online, but the couple 'solutions' (leave and come back, or approach on foot instead of driving) do not work. has anyone else figured out why this is happening and how to fix it? I removed scripthook and a trainer asi file and I still get the same problem. very frustrating. and I dont have any other recent save files to try out. I could start over, which I dont mind, but whose to say it wont happen again when I get to that spot?

I had the same issue. Take a taxi to the marker and skip the journey.
