GTA V bought on cd-rom. Can I convert it into steam?

You can't convert it to steam but you can get a download from Rockstar... See this article.

CD-ROM? You mean DVD?
Either way, you might be able to get Rockstar to convert it to a digital license. Steam, however, will not even touch it.

No you can't do that .
All what you can do is to add the game as non-Steam .
If you want to have full Steam integration , then you need to but game form Steam .

I know it's late but you've gotta get common.rpf and x64b.rpf files and preferably .exe of gtavlauncher.exe and gtav.exe
