Why can't I hide pistol and combat pistol?

This post sounds like he already owns a gun locker, however you cant hide pistol and combat pistol from the gun locker.

Yes. Just why? There are just better pistols in all the stats. And some reason rockstar thinks that I need to have this 2 useless pistols which would make some problems when drive-bying.

I had the same problem with the combat pistol and what I did was drop it then went to ammunation and bought it again, after that I was able to hide it in the weapons locker.

Can this still work? Because I am finding really annoying that the weapon locker show there is pistol option to hide yet when I leave my office and start browsing pistol section, standard pistol and combat pistol are still there. Worked thanks for sharing that. I hope now I won't get a ban for doing that.

OMG... that acutally did it. Thanks. I wasted about $7000 including upgrades on the fix.

As a side note, it's still annoying that there is no option to disable picking up weapons from npc's, and hence, the standard pistol keeps creeping into the loadout until you change sessions or throw it away!
