how do you trigger special item (rare cargo) event?

ign wiki says it appears every time you finish 10 cargo missions.
I already have one special item in my warehouse and I just finished 11 cargo missions in a row... my assistant didn't call me for special item contract...

so you can only have one special item at a time?
or you need multiple warehouses to have more than one special items?

Well i got about 50 cargos... no of them were spechial... I gess its bugged

Well i got about 50 cargos... no of them were spechial... I gess its bugged

could it be total random? like you gotta be very lucky to trigger special item event...

Could be... No clue i sold my goods 3 times + few little deals... 0 rare cargo yet

I read somewhere you can have one special item per warehouse. I have 2 warehouses and ~160 crates evenly distributed. After appr. the 15th mission i got my first call from my assistant about special item (but didn't find it, since i was concentrating only on 3 crate deliveries), a while later a second time and this time i found and bought and stored it in my warehouse. Since then i never heard about any special item from my assistant. So now i sold the one i had - maybe now i get another one.

I googled that site too. But I think it's false.
Someone on the other forum told me he has two special items in his warehouse (he only has one warehouse).

But still, no one can confirm how to trigger special item events tho...

Its random. I can confirm it.

Sadly, i got a random call from my secretary, for a special item. It would cost more she said. The server was full of trolls, i switched to a new session, went to my office and the offer was gone :(

So far i had only collected about 40 crates.

yap. I just got a special item call 30 minutes ago after I got off TV in my yacht (I went afk and I wasn't even CEO when I got the call).
I guess my assistant called me long before I got off the TV since you have to leave TV mode to answer phone calls. When I went to my office, the deal was already gone. :(

I'm going to be that ass, I have had for rare cargo with two warehouses a solid gold minigun, russian gem egg, fur coat made out of mammoths, and a 64 karrot diamon. I have two warehouses, one small, other large. I've filled and sold my large warehouse twice now.

I think it goes by how many crates you buy and sell, because after selling my first large warehouse, I started got the other rare crates, the gold mini was my first and I regret selling it.

i think it's random, and yes you have to get to your office quickly to seize the deal for it.

after around 50 crates purchased i got the call from assisstant about it, but took too long and missed the deal (didn't know it had time limit). Around 10 crate purchases later i received another call and this time got it. It's some hide fur coat or something.

if I sell multiple special items at a time, would I get higher unit price?
Or there's no point stockpiling special items?

I've done around 52 cargo missions and have gotten 2 rare cargo shipments (both different in value). I don't think its bugged but it might happen randomly.

i filled up my large wh and there was no call for rare cargo.

It's a little random, but should happen every 30 crates or so. I've gotten 2; a special diamond and sasquatch fur in about 60 single crate deliveries. Your assistant will call you saying theres a special mission, just go to your computer and select it.

where can i found this "special cargo" mission?
because she call me and say that i must come back .. so i drive back to my office .. but can only see the "normal" cargo mission ;((
