How often can you sell cars?

New guy here. I was just wondering how often you can sell cars to a mechanic. Is there a cooldown time?

I'm addicted to vehicle collecting, so I sell vehicles only once in a blue moon (and most often it's something I've won a free version of off the casino podium and so I'm dropping the original to get some money back). That's just me though, some players like to keep their vehicle collection at a limited scale.

The sell limit I know of is 1 per in-game day (48 minute cooldown), but I've seen some reports when I did a quick Google search that Rockstar may flag overuse as suspicious (selling say 8 in 24 real world hours). Other forum regulars might have a clearer understanding of the limits involved with selling personal vehicles, so I do hope they perhaps chime in if I'm off base or have outdated info.
