I was kinda surprised they didn't make it work like Casino where you can't do same approach again but it will be a hardmode when you do it next time.
I kinda get the feeling they might have fixed that thing, surely they know how popular that glitch seems to be so why make all these cooldown changes if players can simply ignore it with bug abuse? Now people finding new ways is still possible tho.
I don't really think casual players are doing multiple Cayo Perico heists because it still takes an hour to complete everything.
What I was more disappointed with was those conservative bumps in payouts for everything else. It would be nice to have more people doing other things, but I don't think that much is going to change. So many parts of this game are dead because the payout just isn't worth the time invested.
Who would have thought we'd have an update that hits grinders and griefers at the same time. It's very strange.
I'm sure you are right, there will be glitches to get around the nerf. That said, I never used the glitch, all this will do is make more people start glitching and that can go wrong if Rockstar decides to pursue it. They can see you are doing it by simply looking at your transaction log. I know a lot of people do it and get away with it but people used to dupe cars and get away with it as well, until Rockstar started putting automated systems in place to detect it.
My personal advice would be to not glitch and even if you do, don't overdo it. That is if you value that character you are playing on. The repeat glitches are the most harmless of all because you are still working for it and it goes on your "money earned from jobs" stat, but it's not 100% fool proof.
Also, they wont just start banning people or resetting people so you know to stop doing it. In good ole Rockstar fashion they will sit on it for a while and then do a ban wave and there will be a lot of people on here crying so be careful, do your research and don't overdo it.
Where does that money go for the host then? I used to repeat Pac Standard and Act 3 all the time on my xbox account, it always went on my "money earned from jobs" stat as far as I know.
lol you know what? You are right because you quit out, brain fart on my part. Been a while. But the host is still safe because it looks like it can be a simple network error which is very common in GTA.
The clients are still safe stat wise but that transaction log will have an interesting story to tell.
Well how many errors can one get in a row at the exact same few seconds window? If money saves to the bank they can at least retroactively mark that finale as completed. Idk why they haven't done anything for it so long.
