Steam purchased and need activation key

Cannot play my Steam purchase, it requires activation key at Rockstar. Anyone experience this and get it resolved? When I insert the Key from Steam it says it is already in use.

I think you should log in/create rockstar account first before opening gtav

Open steam library. Right click on gtav>manage>cd keys. Assuming the problem is only this and not some connectivity issues.

When did you get it? The key is a one time activation key meaning if you used it then it is gone.

I got it from Steam, When? Installed Oct 27, 2022 at 7 pm.

Your library, gta 5 view key, and enter it when it asks it, you aren't meant to use they key on Rockstar social club website. You need to enter in on steam & most times it automatically selects the key and adds itself when needed to the activation section.

FWIW, purchased May 11, 2022

Any chance you been banned and are trying to link to a new acount?, anyway the cd_key is in your game library right click gta 5 and select view key and try to enter it again, make sure there are no mistakes or spaces, best to write it down and enter manually. I activated my game 3 times within 7 years without a issue.

Ok verify integrity of game files with steam then restart pc and try again.
