Rockstar do virtually NOTHING about hackers.
They put in code to make money-dropping difficult but aside from that I've seen no evidence of them actually banning people that cheat with mods.

I've reported people online using the form, carefully adding all the info they need and putting my video evidence in a link but yesterday I saw the same player I'd reported A MONTH AGO playing and modding as before. This just confirms my theory that the reason they don't tell you if they banned a player when you make a report is to hide the fact that they don't.

Prove me wrong. I'm listening.

Their anti cheat system is a complete joke. All the hackers avoid it like it's nothing. It's such a joke to them they drop money and RP on other players in ways to get them reset and suspended just to exploit further. This broken game is literally banning only fair players while allowing the actual hackers to run rampant. Billion dollar company btw. Complete clown show.

RS checks if you have a decent credit card. Why do you think people who are legit keep getting banned while keeping the oppressors in? If they wanted money, they would look up who has paid with a credit card and reset them. RS is like Micheal bay. It's all about the explosions and leave your brain when you log in.

cheaters do get banned but it usually takes weeks or months or even years

Rockstar .... the problem can be solved in a moment.
When a game comes out, it is sold in two copies.
The online one, for those interested in playing online only, and the single player one for those not interested in playing online.
I write this because, personally, I don't like playing online, and if someone cheats online, and rightly rockstar adds protections, or just adds online content, to keep players spending their money, it creates discomfort every time. only the single player, with gig and gig of updates (and space occupied in the hard disk) for nothing.
Simple isn't it?
Customer: R* fix your anticheat, cheaters are everywhere. Reporting them does not help, they straight up remove the report, it's useless...

R* support: Hello! The best way to counter cheaters is to report them through online tab!

Well, perhaps seem to forget Rockstar is basically Bethesda with a limitless Budget.. well not limitless but far greater budget. The fact people worship Rockstar as a god is ridiculous.

Issue is their games are often just as buggy/broken. Something as simple as trying to open a safe in GTA Online for example is a chore. When it does work you watch a character go through such an unbelievable animation, where they step side to side trying to position themselves just right that it's actually kind of funny that people call that "Immersive" worse part is, even Red Dead Redemption II has similar quirks. Gotta line yourself up with the horse to do the throw skin on back of horse animation to a point it breaks immersion, yet people call it immersive.

Same thing with looting a corpse in GTA Online, instead of the corpse dropping the item on the ground and making a simple bend over sweep arm/hand to pick object up, you get to watch the character step side to side.. yet again.... so it can do the slow tedious loot corpse animation. lol

Really just comes off as dumb, and bad game design. Oh Oh Oh when trying to unlock the door when doing an Agency Mission when you have to recover a Bike from a Hanger. Same quirky nonsense. It's just stupid in the end.

I've gotten to a point that I actually lowered my standards with Rockstar. Games look nice, but play like crap much of the time. It's one of the reasons I have a hard time enjoying RDRII's single player. Similar gameplay quirks.. so annoying.

So i can ask, if someone sucks that bad at making gameplay "work" what does the game look like under the graphics? Like the code? If they don't have the time to do something as simple as unlocking a hanger door right why do you expect them to do something about cheaters in their game?

All of your points can easily be answered as "But... but if we make everything easier you may save up time! This game wouldn't suck as much of your time as possible"

It's a good point when the issue exist in Singleplayer as well though. Example being Putting stuff on your Horse in Red Dead Redemption II. If you or the horse are not positioned right it ends up being a side stepping game until you're allowed to actually place the item on the horse, which is so dumb. You shouldn't have to step side to side, turn around/spin around to get a button prompt to appear saying you're lined up enough, even then seeing the character make a correction by side stepping to place the item on the horse.

This Quirkiness exist not just on GTA Online in short. GTA Online though is the worst at it but that's most likely because the quality of content has gone down considerably. Even the Cayo Perico Island is just terrible. I can run normally 144 FPS on GTA Online, but on that Island it drops to around 44 FPS in some areas. So you know they spent almost no time whatsoever optimizing that new addition to the map.

Rockstar doesn't care, in short.

Thats because THEY are the Hackers, its a private enterprise for the CEOs, millions extra made and it feeds into a vicious cycle of pure profit from selling them hacks>>>>banning them>>>>>selling them a new version of the gam>>>>>>selling them hacks>>>>ban them>>>>>>selling them new version of the game>>>>rinse repeat.

People need to wake up to what big business really is, its criminal enterprise once it reaches the critical mass of greed.
