It's not pandering. Once a company gets big enough it's basically illegal not to gradually replace the old guard with the left's clients (middle class white women with useless degrees, POC, LGBTP etc). These people then use their new positions for evangelism purposes (i.e. to spread their left or "woke" worldview/ religion/ faith and to further drive out any of the remaining people who made the company a success in the first place. Matters such as the company's bottom line or creating a good product aren't a concern to them.

I always assume people who post stuff like this got passed up for that job as a shift supervisor at the gas station or something. Sure, none of those companies in the Fortune 50 are concerned with the bottom line or creating a product to meet demand. Going woke means going broke and every company where HR does the occasional DEI push is circling the drain, sure, that's the real world. My company has tens of thousand employees spread across 3 continents, has been profitable for like 140 years risk going broke because of their sponsoring of pride events last month... Sure, that's how anything works.

In GTA I've always enjoyed sleeping around, messing with hookers, and playing as a MALE character in a criminal role. I don't want to be a female character in gta, and sleep around or mess with prostitutes, I don't want LGBT relations I don't want my character being a slut, I don't want to do ANY of the things I used to do in ANY of the iterations of GTA previously because now they're making the main character a female. It's completely immersion and RP breaking for me and i'm sure for MANY others.

Latino isn't a race, it's a collection of people from four groups, Amerindian, European, Black, and those that are a significant mixture of some or all previously listed groups. There are many under this label that are clearly White but use Latino to get perceived cred. No that's the problem with the world is we aren't holding ourselves to these values, our country ran much better and was much more respected and feared in the 50's then now, we're a laughing stock. All these civil rights movements and womens rights movements and all these other liberal ideologies have ruined this country. and it's now starting to ruin gaming, which was one of the last bastions of masculinity that I enjoyed, we didn't have LGBT crap flooding the gaming world as strongly as it is now; being pushed everywhere to the point I have to check discussion pages and reviews just to ensure it's not in there, because I play games to have fun, enjoy myself and be in a world I WANT to be in, and escape the filthy leftist ideology that plagues the real one.

The funny thing, apart from the country apparently being "better" in a time when black people had to drink from different water fountains, is that a lot of women play games. My last 3 relationships have been with women who game. They're not terribly hard to find out there if you don't give off weirdo vibes by referring to real women as "females" often. The "laughingstock" thing is one of those weird right wing talking points that just isn't true. I guess it was a little, there were hot mic clips of other world leaders dunking on our
most recent former President when he was in the room and there was that time he got laughed to his face for making an embarrassing speech to the UN. I remember when they were airing those Russian military recruitment commercials to contrast against the US talking about how awesome they were. Then they invaded Ukraine and get their butts handed to them by farmers, grannies, and considerably smaller military, they can barely project their non-woke fighting force 50 miles beyond their own border before getting stuck in the mud and bombed.

I miss when masculinity had strong overlap with stoicism, now we've got these weepy thought leaders on the right and that's trickling down to the discourse.
