Cayo Perico Bug After Update
After playing Cayo Perico after the update whenever I attempt to redo the heist it tells me I need to wait for Pavel to message me. I know you wait normally 5-10 minutes and Pavel will tell you that you can do the heist again, but after this update Pavel will not message me that my heist is ready and I've been waiting hours. I don't know if this is a bug or just a game mechanic after the update. (P.S I do know their is a cool down for the heist now but I've been waiting hours and I can't even do the preps at all.) SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

There was a cooldown added to cayo after update especially if solo.
What do you call 'hours' - did you time it or is it a feeling?

With this update, all Heists will be aligned to have the same cooldown timer of 1 in-game day (48 minutes) when playing as a group. We will also adjust specific aspects of The Cayo Perico Heist Finale to better balance a player’s time spent in GTA Online. Solo playthroughs of The Cayo Perico Heist Finale will trigger a cooldown of 3 in-game days. And after stealing a high value Primary Target in The Cayo Perico Heist Finale, the higher value Primary Targets will appear less often for the next 72 hours, while the value of Secondary Targets will increase. This is intended to encourage exploration and cooperation between players.

I know that, I seriously have been waiting hours IN REAL LIFE for Pavel to call me. It is currently 6:17 P.M and I finished the heist at around 11 A.M.;

the first noteworthy change pertains to the cooldown timer for a heist. The DLC will equalize the cooldown timer across all heists, making it one in-game day (48 minutes in real life) if completed by a group.

However, this cooldown timer will rise to three in-game days (144 minutes) if a player completes the CPH solo. This is being done to "better balance a player's time spent in GTA Online."

He almost never calls. You need to check the screen. I've done it dozens of times and he's called me/texted me less than 15 times

Its not working. 144 minutess is enough time for me to play something else and forget about GTA, not a great move for them.

I'm not a big fan of this. I like doing my Heist lol and I don't like doing it with randoms. I would spend more time in GTA Online if it wasn't for all the modders messing things up.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
