GTA 5 Widescreen

So I reinstalled the game and had gotten a Viotek 34" widescreen a while back. I have FWS, which does nothing (am using the "updated" Rose settings) and the game still starts displayed in the lower right-hand corner of the monitor. As such, I can't access any settings, etc. and am wondering how to resolve this. Ideas?

What is your monitors resolution? For me, the game works flawlessly in 3440x1440 native apart from the story mode/online selector screen being letter boxed. Here is what my game looks like without any external software messing with it like FWS. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2831064676 Try to go to "C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V" and delete the "settings.xml" file. This should purge your settings and put whatever it's default settings should be. My game likes to default at 800x600 even though my PC is more than capable to run it at maximum graphics settings. Just a quirk this game has. Also, I would recommend to close FWS/Flawless Widescreen so that it is not potentially causing the issue.
