cant remove rockstar account from steam account

can someone pls tell me how to remove my rockstar account from my steam account.
i tried this link and it did not work pls help!!!!

Can someone help me when i buy a house or garage or anything else it wont work and it says Transaction failed price data or inventory incorrect someone help pls i cant find on youtube or google how to fix it

You need to request the deletion of your social club account via ticket to rockstars ( do not ask for unlinking) only deletion . Also note you will lose access to your singleplayer and online completely after the social club account is deleted . After deletion of the account if you launch gta from steam it will say make a new account on their webpage ( also note you need to make a new steam account and gift gta to that account ) and then you need to copy the cd key from the gifted gta account to your main to complete the relink to your new one .

It's practically a bug at this point since steam doesn't care what key you used on gta 5 via the linking process .

Trying to circumvent a ban? R* account and Steam account are bound for this reason. Of course, R* doesn't mind if you buy the game again. All you need to do is create a new Steam account and buy the game again.

The thing is you can circumvent the ban , its a recent thing what has been discoverd , same works for epic games . The process takes up to two weeks .

I haven't been banned myself but I requested my social account ro to be deleted the same way since a modder has been following me around for years .

I did all the above and i have a new gta acc linked to this account now the other one got deleted (meaning steam lost the link )

You can tho , but there a catch to it, if you do unlink there is a certain thing you need to do to do get back access to your games that use SC launcher

When did you do that? Chances are it got patched when r* fixed activating key via family share.
