My gta got hacked???

Is it possible that I got hacked on GTA Online so my game becomes very laggy
also not even working. The graphics settings was set to very high too;
Or is this a bug in an update, or what is it????
I tried to reset the graphics also but it was set to very high again
I have a high end gaming PC...........

I have also run Malwarebytes and Windows defender full scan.
No viruses

Just a quick question, are you running recording or anything in the background (windows keeps telling me I'm recording the gameplay in the background but I never get to see it and it causes lags and skips alot) May be there is too many people on when you're on, or there are serious hackers out there and if you give them an in... forgetaboutit.

I don't know what happened to you, but trust me scripts don't work like that. Not at all.

also, there is a game moderator designated for each session, and if he feels like it, he can ruin your world. Believe it. He can appear in many disguises and come into your missions and ♥♥♥♥ you up. Killing is his game. He loves to kill. And if you make him mad, well there is just no hope. Try playing Cayo Perico when you have the moderator mad at you.

I have good fps in GTA V at high settings 1440p resolution and barely any stuttering. Maybe once in a while, which is not uncommon. The problem accured today after playing on an online lobby and I went to the Casino. i couldnt get into it, as it bugged. So i shut down GTA V and started on a Only invite server. Then when going to Settings it said that graphics settings has been changed and I needed to apply. I ignored it. then I went to settings again, same thing. So I applied the settings and after that my game was ruined.

If you run/try to run over 160fps the game engine glitches out leading to very low fps, so cap fps below that. Unless you play on low settings you’re likely not to experience that except when you pause though.

Forceclosing/crashing game can corrupt your settings. Just delete the files in mydocs and let the game remake them. Sometimes windows defender will also take ownership of settings files and wont let them be wrote since it sounds like you been messing with them settings.

I have deleted the game and will reinstall it later.
I have now also deleted the Rockstar game map in mydocs.
Hopefully tomorrow when I run it, it runs OK.
Maybe i am being paranoid.

(SORRY that i was using MOD. I know that cheaters are the worst in online games.
The thing is that so many cheat on GTA Online. i hope that Rockstar games can fix this................)

I really enjoy to drive around , maybe rob the store. And stuff.
The game still have such nice graphics and is well optimized (Not many stuttering,etc.)
So i hope that the game is not ruined for me.
Also because of so many toxic hackers in the lobbies,
I wont play on lobbies anymore.
The real criminals on online gaming are not people like me,
but people that are trolls (mentally damaging others and using hacks,script,etc.)

Are you using a 3rd party software, such as Nvidia Experience, to "boost" (or whatever it's called) your game. Programs like that may be setting your graphics each time you launch it.

I just install the necessary drivers. Not Experience.

Your computer has not been hacked and neither has your GTA account. What a waste of time, energy, and skill.

Remove all your mods and do a clean uninstall and reinstall. Delete the remaining files (not your saves), just cache and anything else that remains before you reinstall. Should fix the issue bud.

Ok since nobody here has made this suggestion and from what limited info I know about it seems as though it might be GPU related, but I could be wrong.

Ok since nobody here has made this suggestion and from what limited info I know about it seems as though it might be GPU related, but I could be wrong.

Let the cheater have issues. no need to help someone who cheats

You think everyone who uses mods is a cheater? Look at Darkviper. He uses mods. You don't call him a cheater.
