White blur outline behind moving objects in GTA5

This happens in all my games, not just GTA5, whether I drive a car, or just move the game's camera, is more noticeable in GTA5.

There is some sort of white ghosting / blur outline when I turn my character behind objects.

I have a 60 hz monitor (5 ms) and I'm running these games at 1920x1080. Regardless of framerate (GTA5 gets about 70-80 on ultra), this happens mostly on high-speed games.

This never happened on my older gaming laptop, but is happening now.

Googling brings up a similar issue where the monitor had a setting called "Trace" that was set to 100. Changing it to 0 removed this. See if that's the issue?

Also possibility of a dying monitor according to another hit. How old is your monitor?

How would I disable this?

Hit the Menu (Maybe called OSD or something else) button on your monitor and go through the options, I'm assuming. Could also be in the monitor settings in Control Panel.

No, I didn't find any setting for that. It's an Acer R240HY

Someone else here may be able to help more, but to be honest, if this was happening to me I'd be posting it to a techsupport site, like Tom's hardware (don't yell at me if you think that site sucks, it just pops up a lot when googling computer issues.)
