Steam forum is not related to your "redux" mod, why dont you ask your questions somewhere else?

No need to be an idiot, someone here may know something about his question.

Asking about mods here will get you only bad answers since people here hate modders.

To answer OP's question: Are the other features of the mod working for you? I'm thinking that you may need to re-install. When I installed the mod the first time, none of the features worked because I didn't direct OpenIV to install into the "game folder." After re-installing and making sure that it installed to the correct directory, everything is working (and f* fantastically, at that).

Thanks for your serious answer :-) I am not sure, the damage system is different and the behavior of the people too (I guess). The problem is, the OpenIV tool never asked about the install directory and i couldn't change it. It just installed the mod.

Yeah, that exact same thing happened to me the first time around. It turns out, I didn't have the ASI Loader, OpenIV ASI, and the openCamera installed. To fix it, I deleted everything GTA V (not the zip for the Redux or it's patch), re-downloaded GTA V, set up the "mods" folder, installed the pre-requisites (scripthook etc.) launched OpenIV, and, under the "Tools" tab in OpenIV, selected the "ASI Manager." Once they were installed, I was able to use the package installer and get the prompt to allow me to choose the destination.

I think what had happened to me was the Redux mod installing to the "mods" folder without my say-so. If that is what happened, and if that is what happened to you, you MIGHT be able to simply cut and paste the "mods" folder into main directory, but no promises that, that'll work properly. I will say that the re-download/re-install was totally worth the trouble. The mod is pretty damn gorgeous (especially at night D:) and I haven't gotten one crash since.

Hey, I installed everything again and everything right. Now it didn't ask for install location again. It just started to install :( Same result :-(

EDIT: I can see in the windows ressource monitor that the installation in editing the files in the mod folder. I tryed to move the files vom mod zu GTA 5 folder, but the games isn't working afterwards.

EDIT: Now I got it! When I installed the OpenIV, it didn't install the OpenIV.ASI. It just installed the ASI Loader.... strange... It should work now, but I have to install GTA V again. The download takes 12 hours with my 50K connection. Steam downloads are so slow :-(

I'm glad you were able to work it out. I'd say that it's probably worth it though. I beat V's PC version not long after release and this mod has gotten me to pick it back up again. I had forgotten how much fun it was.
